MANY IRRESPONSIBLE DOG OWNERS!!

I took my dog to this beach when I didn’t know about his water obsession. He was being too loud in the water so I was carrying him out when a very large white dog (American bulldog?) started jumping on me to get to my dog. It could easily reach my chest height and nearly snatched my dog from me.

The owners had 2 other large brown dogs (Rhodesian Ridgeback?) and took their sweet time getting to me. I was in shock and focused on getting my dog out of there so I didn’t realise I was scratched all over.

The beach itself is no great shakes but it's the only place you can bring a dog for an off leash run in the ocean this side of Sydney. Parking can be difficult, be prepared to walk from several streets away. Watch out for parking restrictions, and Rangers as dogs are not allowed off leash on the streets or in the nearby Park.
