3 years ago I rated this place 5 stars. But my last few experiences have been terrible.. First of all they have no GF soy sauce and they no longer serve beer, you can have a small water in a dentist cup. Secondly the sushi is premade and served to you, but still at the fresh made prices. My sushi today was cold, dry and the tuna tasted off. I could tell it was premade and it may have even been made the day prior it was that dry. Thirdly, the scallops have now been Sliced in to a 3rd or 4th of a scallop. Cost cutting on a very expensive dish and also impacts the flavour...I don't want a tiny dry and cold scallop Frisbee... I want an actual scallop, which is what we paid for...and the picture in store illustrates. I used to be really impressed with this place but after the last few visits and especially after today I will never return.

One of my favorite sushi restaurants! The satff are extremely friendly and very helpful. The minute you walk in you will get a greeting and when you walk out a "Thank you, see you next time". The sushi platters here are the best, you can chose whatever you want and they are huge. They are made in 20-25 min, can walk in and order. Great for parties! The menu is pretty good! Prices are average. The dishes are made in no time if your dining in. Nice and cozy atmosphere. Can easily find parking. 👍

First and last time here. Disgusting sushi. I ordered teriyaki salmon and was served some spicy mushy rubbish. When I told them I had been served the wrong dish, they told me that it was stir-fried breadcrumbs with teriyaki sauce, with a few small pieces of salmon in it - and that was what they served as “teriyaki salmon”. And they denied it was spicy, even though it clearly was! Inedible and I won’t be returning. Hopefully I won’t get food poisoning

This is our favourite sushi restaurant for number of years now. Food is always consistent, it can be a bit busy at certain times and days but usually wait is not very long. Service is very good, always had good experience. Our disappointment came at our last visit when I noticed that the mini ginger sachets which are normally placed on every table were removed and when asked for it they gave two small sachets, I find that a cheap move to save money..

Dinu and Jina were so amazing, they are so friendly and vivacious, they provided such helpful service and nothing was too hard for them. They cheerfully accommodated all our food preferences and menu requests. Such huge serves and fantastic Japanese food we thought we were in Japan. I couldn’t help but eat everything in my huge Bento box. Best Japanese in the Shire. Amen 🙏
