KFC Concord — Restaurant in Sydney

We arrived at the drive-through at 9:30 and ordered a variety feast. However, due to the lack of chicken, the worker told us that we have to wait 10 minutes and that they will deliver it to us. After waiting for 15 minutes in the car, I got out and asked how long it will take. However, they did not even realise that I ordered something and told me to wait ANOTHER 15 minutes as they just realised the chicken ran out (which doesn't make sense as they already said they ran out 15 minutes ago). So I asked for a refund as I did not want to wait more but they did not even give me a refund as they didnt give me a receipt at the start due to the lack of paper. Out of frustration, I waited for another 10 minutes and when it finally came out, i was surprised to know that they didnt even know what goes inside the variety feast. They didnt know how many aioli sauces are meant to go in and didnt know how many pieces of chicken is meant to go in. However, what made me the most frustrated was their indifference and ignorance towards their mistakes and problems. Inside the kitchen, I could hear them chattering and laughing and barely working towards giving the food earlier. If you look at the many reviews of this place, it is obvious that this kfc is completely terrible from the food quality to service quality. If I was to give a suggestion, firing all the workers working at that time frame would be a great idea as they are obviously not capable of taking such responsibility of their role and action. In addition, i realised that the workers were all in their teens(including the manager) and to put them all in the same shift is just stupid. Overall, the quality of the food was terrible (just oily and all squashed) the service and their management was just garbage. I would love to give this place a 0 star review but looks like 1 is...

Abysmal. Was yelled at by a blonde lady who we can only imagine is "management" from across the service counter that the store was take away only, while we were simply checking our order to ensure all items were present. This person, presumably the supervisor on duty, preached no dine in was permitted due to COVID safety and that there were "...signs all over the building". Ironic considering the sanitiser stand didn't even have a bottle let alone sanitiser, not a single staff member was wearing masks/gloves, toilets labelled "closed" had three people walk in and out, and as we were waiting for our order to be completed there was a couple sitting and - wait for it - DINING IN! Check your cameras if in doubt. Also, there aren't signs "all over the building"; your entrance faces Concord Road, and you have ONE sign facing Niranda Road. Bravo. Oh, and there was some non-food substance on my original recipe chicken, which your staff had to change, so lucky...

Online ordered a family burger box, and they messed it up on the pickup, wrong burgers and wrong twisters, no mash and gravy. So had to go back and get them to correct it (took 4 staff members to come and check the email receipt for the order to correct it), only to find a very shabbily wrapped (thrown together more likely) twister which literally fell apart the moment it was picked up with sauce everywhere. Oh and there was sauce literally on every wrapped item and outside the box itself on its base which meant our car seats were soiled too. And the dipping sauce that came with the box was MIA, they did give us two fries but honestly, based on how soggy and wilted and unseasoned they were not sure if can be counted as compensation. Would not recommend this outlet, go to Lidcombe, much better service and the food actually tastes...
