Terrible drive through experience. Used to frequent this KFC weekly until their poor service and average to poor quality food drove me away (literally). I now go to KFC Lakemba instead.
KFC Greenacre is a lesson on what to do wrong / badly every time. 1) They deliberately under-staff the restaurant all the time. There is never anyone at the drive through teller window instead they take payment at the food delivery window. Three times I've been stuck in the drive through queue for 30 minutes here. On average they are 4 to 5 times slower than KFC Lakemba 2) Don't be fooled by the 2 drive through lanes - this place is SLOW SLOW SLOW due to point 1 above. 3) Staff must not be trained well and quality control is non-existent - more than half of the orders I have made here have had an error ranging from minor to major. They frequently get the order wrong, leave out condiments (e.g. only include required sauce 50% of the time and when they do, its nearly always the wrong sauce - order BBQ get Sweet and Sour. 4) Never have bacon - forget ordering any menu item that includes bacon. Nearly every time don't include the potato and gravy with their large Zinger box.
Avoid if you can. Take the trip to KFC Lakemba and experience the difference of a well managed...
Read moreI understand that from time to time you get the occasional very small piece of chicken in your meal, but when your “giant feast” is more than 70% of wings and drumsticks that look like they came from a budgie, then this is totally unacceptable. This is the first time I had tried KFC Greenacre. I usually use Punchbowl but didn’t this time because I was driving thru Greenacre. I try and avoid Riverwood. The attached photo is one of the wings in front of the box it came in. It looks bigger in the photo than what it actually was, I guess a photo did it justice in this instance. The chip boxes are covered in gravy as the gravy containers were thrown in the bag without the lids on properly. My wife and daughter had already taken a few of the tiny sized drumsticks and wings out. Both complained. My undersized wing was dry and smelt like cat urine ( I have never sampled cat urine, I can only assume it would have a similar bitter taste). Needless to say there was no KFC left over from tonight’s meal. Dear manager, if you want to treat your customers like this at least throw in some extra pieces, otherwise you are just taking the piss. The beauty of google is to warn others of this practice. I personally will not be...
Read moreI had a very disappointing experience at the Greenacre KFC. I ordered wicked wings, a burger, and nuggets through the drive-thru. After paying at the first window, I was told—not asked—by the staff at the second window to go park and wait. I politely suggested staying at the window since there were no cars behind me, but she rudely insisted I had to move.
I waited in the car park, and within 12 minutes, I saw four other cars being served through the drive-thru while I was still waiting. My son was waiting at home for the food and calling me to know why I am late as he was hungry. So, I got frustrated.
Eventually, I went inside the store to ask what was going on. I was upset (and I admit I raised my voice), but instead of understanding the frustration or trying to resolve the situation, the manager told me not to yell and simply offered a refund. I took the refund and left.
I ended up going to Punchbowl KFC, where I got the food without any issues. I won’t be going back to the Greenacre KFC again. Poor service and no effort to handle a clearly unhappy customer...
