1st time here on 11.6.25 & returned a few times since - always wanted to try this place out since they opened, but keep forgetting because I end up eating something else in the food court My nephew & i first tried the following: 1. Signature roast duck rolls - nice but on the oily side for me 2. Noodle Nirvana spicy pork & chives wonton noodle soup - generous serving & nice flavours but the wonton dough had a slight chewiness, & it was supposed to be flat noodles but was served the spaghetti type, which wasn't bad but not a good 1st impression. Glad they put the chilli paste on the side of the bowl for you to mix the amount you want - it was really spicy when I mixed a little in 3. Lanzhou beef noodles - my nephew liked it, but it was too beefy for my taste 2nd visit I had the Shanghai stir fried noodles & my nephew had the Fujian fried rice... both are dishes we would not order again 😅 3rd visit I had the following: 1. Tofu veggie soup - enjoyed this except for the amount of corn flour/ starch used to thicken it 2. Prawn & chives spring rolls - really nice compared to most I've eaten at Yum Chas. Forgot to take a photo. Staff originally gave me the standard spring rolls by mistake & let me have them - that's what my photo shows 3. Stir fried beef rice noodles - nice flavours, had the wok hei essence that should be compulsory for all fried rice/noodles to have. Minor critique is that it was a bit oily for me & a little bit of the beef was slightly chewy 4. Preserved/pickle veggie beef noodle soup & steamed chicken & mushroom dumplings - my nephew ordered these so I can't recall the exact name of the noodle dish, but I think he said both were ok, same as the Lanzhou but with the salted veggies, Best to come with more people to share the dishes, as they're generous serving sizes & a bit pricey for 1-2 x people to try multiple dishes. Menu is hit & miss depending on what you order/like, hence the 3 stars. Would still return to try their other dishes

I was very disappointed with the food and the bad service we experienced at Kung Fu Kitchen in Lidcombe shopping centre. Here's my advice to anyone thinking of going to this restaurant: If you're coming with kids, this place is not recommended. There was no kid's cutlery available, and the staff only provided a big steel fork to my kids after I requested kid's cutlery. Unfortunately, the fork was very sharp, and I didn't notice until my four-year-old cut his lip with it. His lip was bleeding, and he couldn't finish his food because it hurt so badly. If you're going to order food based on the menu pictures, please don't trust them. For instance, we ordered the "Beijing Style shredded pork and pancakes" dish, but it only came with six tiny pancakes, which were not enough to wrap 1/4 portion of pork meat. I asked the staff in charge at the counter why there were at least 12 pancakes in the menu photo, but only six were provided with the dish. She replied that it's normal for the dish to look different from the menu since the pictures are for reference only. She also said that we were the first customers who could not finish the pork with six pancakes, and if we wanted additional pancakes, we would need to pay $6 for six more. I was disappointed with this pricy dish and the staff's bad attitude. Trust me, we have been to other Chinese restaurant and ordered the similar dishes, never disappointed. Anyway, after a long negotiation, the staff agreed to give us six extra pancakes, but some of them was broken. I was not sure if she did it on purpose, but I was too tired to waste my time to talk to her again. The other dishes we ordered were average, and we didn't expect good quality after what happened. The only good thing that came out of this experience is that it motivated me to write my first Google review to advise people with young children and those looking for a satisfactory experience try other places until the food and service from KungFu Kitchen are improved.

Poor service and lower than average food. Ordered a few main dishes and a serving of their 'chef's recommended pan fried pork dumplings' and horribly disappointed. The main dishes arrived and the pan fried dumplings didn't. We reminded the waitress about the missing dumplings after 45 mins and was told 'the dumplings are freshly made to order so it will take a longer time'. We had all finished our main meals and were just sitting around waiting for their 'special' dumplings after an hour and decided to cancel the order for the dumpling. Instead of being apologetic, the rude waitress showed how annoyed she was at this request while insisting the dumplings were being made, went to the kitchen for a short while before bringing out a plate of undercooked bland dumplings with horribly thick dumpling skin. The bottom was not golden, and the entire dumpling skin was still raw and slightly hard. We had to wait an hour for this chef's special freshly made to order dumplings (photos attached) which cost $11.80 for 6 pieces. I guess there is a reason why they make you order and pay for the food upfront before being served the lousy food. Don't have any expectations for good food if you want to dine here.

Hot chilli beef noodle soup($13.80) and lamb noodles stir fry ($13.50). Was told chef's not in and no hand stretch noodles for either dish AND noodle soup will come out not chilli different to menu. This was told after we ordered. Google featured pictures isn't the real deal. Food and service was way below quality of foodcourt downstairs.

2 tables came after us ordered much later got their complicated dishes eaten whilst we waited 30mins for these simple dishes. After ordered at the table we were told to order again at counter paid before we get our meals. Other 3 tables came after us didn't do that, 1 person ordered her noodle next to us and she got hers promptly, didn't paid when ordered at her seated table. We could not walk away as already forced to get up and pay.

Advertisement hand stretch noodles but not available on the day, machine cut only noodles available. Few pieces of beef in my chilli hand stretch noodles, came out plain clear broth (sorry but tasted like water with beef cube, no love in it) with a few pre-cooked slice beef. This took 30mins? Hubby ordered hand stretch noodles with lamb stir fried, few pieces of lamb soaked in bicarbonates soda can't taste lamb meat. Flavours sadly as it looks pictured how we left it could not continue. Few mouthful to convince myself that is all worth it the wait, we usually finish our dishes but no, not this time.

Was looking forward to eating here due to Google pictures. It was a failed taste test trial for our next visit ordering more foods. That won't happen. Didn't want to write this review but let the pictures speak for itself. Others may have better experiences here but we left ASAP after long wait disappointed. Felt robbed of our money for bowl/plate of...
