Great service, food and atmosphere. The $9 lunch special is just right. I want to join the members benefits scheme and come back for dessert! Kid friendly and they eat for free on Sundays when you join the rewards. Can't go wrong with that!
Edit#2: they got it just right tonight. Excellent service, fast arrival of the coffee before the meal. Quick delivery of the meals. Love the presentation of the dessert. With this level of service I'm very satisfied and will definitely come back again!
Edit: around 2 weeks ago I came back and I had a terrible experience with the staff ignoring us and not coordinating drinks etc. I had to keep going to the counter to get my drinks and orders. Food served without cutlery etc. My son is only 3 and he was getting very upset at missing his drink with the order. The owner was very attentive and just wish his staff were better at it.
However, they were only marginally better this evening after a lot of chasing up and going to the counter a couple of times. Table service leaves a lot to be desired. When they're busy, they are very stretched.
But when they did provide service, it was well done. They catered to my requests for a balloon for my son, the extra coffee (they still can't make it quick enough to serve before the meal though - it shouldn't take more than 15 mins to make a cappucino).
They had a birthday promo so we got a free dessert. Combined with kids eating free and the $25 dine vouchers, I only spent just over $2. A bargain! Lots of left over food. The large portion sizes are one of their strong selling points.
Overall, I would suggest for them to pay more attention to table service and coordinating the meals when it's busy. It's frustrating to have to keep getting up to the counter to get any kind of service especially with a young child!!

Initially, we waited and waited for someone to take our order and then we waited and waited for our entree to arrive, our mains arrived quite a while after that also (you would not want to be in a rush!) During this time no one came to check if everything was satisfactory, nothing. I do not want to be harassed but a little customer service would be nice. They were not busy at all, so this was no excuse for their inaction. We then sat for about 15mins waiting for some kind of table service (which is what you would think you would get when you 'dine in') to no avail, so I had to get up and approach the counter and ask the staff member to order coffees, to which he replied can we do it here or do you want me to come to the table? I said the table please... He was not very happy but did it. After taking our order and walking away we received a lovely 'death stare' from the young man. What for, I do not know, we were nothing but polite when we could have been very loud and rude about the situation. Upon approaching the counter to pay, to whom it seemed was the manager or franchisee, I made a passing comment that the service was not great today and he apologised (which was nice) and took 75c off our total order. But that's not my issue. My issue is with the staff not implementing health and hygiene rules not only due to COVID-19. But the fact that on many occasions my husband and I saw majority of all the waitresses and the Manager playing with their hair and their face, scratching their noses. One waitress literally finger in her ear giving it a good poke and none of them washing their hands afterwards. We had to even mention to another waitress to ask the ear poker to wash her hands as she carried on afterwards serving customers. As we were leaving asked to speak to the Manager after she repositioned her hair with her hairclip and came over to talk to ask. We told her how it's disgusting that she's not implementing health regulations with her staff as she's not setting a good example herself. Didn't get an apology only attitude, but the young waitress next to her was more apologetic which is not right as the manager has no idea how to deal with customer complaints. We work in the hospitality industry and we implement all the procedures in place to provide a health and safety environment for our customers insuring all our workers bide by the health and safety rules put in place concerning COVID-19.
