Been here couple of times for take away coffee and coffee is okay, standard. Nothing special, which is okay.
We dined today, ordered pancakes, bread rolls and salmon risotto. Everything is standard, I would say not at par with the price you are paying for but standard. The salmon risotto, I have to say , is not cooked. Starch has not broken down properly to achieve a risotto consistency. I asked for assistance and was offered a refund or new food. Given the taste is nice, I’d rather have a new one. When my order arrived, to my dismay, it feels old, it is dry and still grainy. I have to raise this concern so that they will be able to improve their services. Chef came in and told me that the 2nd risotto is new, I really hope that it is. He said this is the first time he received complaints with regards to their risotto, and just told him maybe today is different. He even said he used brown rice ? Korean rice ?and it still doesn’t justify the grainy texture of the risotto. The flavor of the first one is good, but the second one was an awful experience. Customer can check the price of the risotto in store or online, I don't think it should be at that consistency in respect to that price. The chef should be more receptive to criticism especially if its meant to be constructive in order for them to improve their services. I did not ask for a refund even though offered.
Chef should be more receptive, they are not perfect and surely everyday can be different. Coming up to me to tell me that maybe it just doesn’t suit my taste shows that there is no...
Read moreLazy Cat Cafe, I find myself appreciating the unique blend of quality and charm this establishment offers.
The cuisine here stands out for its exceptional quality. Each dish is a delightful blend of taste and presentation, served in generous portions. The menu's diversity caters to various palates, with every dish prepared to near perfection.
The ambiance at Lazy Cat Cafe is equally impressive, providing a relaxing and inviting atmosphere. The chic, understated decor, complemented by whimsical cat-themed accents, creates a perfect setting for a range of dining experiences.
Regarding the service, it can be described as decent and suitable. While the staff is polite and courteous, there's room for more attentiveness and promptness. However, this aspect does not significantly detract from the overall dining experience.
Lazy Cat Cafe masterfully balances superb dining with a cozy, welcoming environment. Despite some room for improvement in service, the cafe remains a highly recommended destination for its culinary excellence and delightful ambiance.
Visitor's Tip: Do not miss the Prawn and Crab Linguine – a dish that exemplifies the chef's skill in flavor and texture. It's a highlight of the cafe's commitment to...
Read moreThis review is for improvement. Food are great and I am a regular Sunday customer that's why I am concerned with what I have experienced.
I ordered two servings of Ragu Spaghetti, which were listed on the menu at $25.00 each. However, I was charged $52.00 for the order. When I pointed out the discrepancy, the staff member informed me that the price had increased, despite the menu still displaying the original price.
I requested to speak with the manager, but was told there was no manager available. The staff member's response to my concerns was dismissive and unprofessional, repeatedly stating "it's just $2.00" with an attitude that I found unacceptable.
To avoid causing inconvenience to other customers on queue to order, I paid the amount requested. While the staff member later returned $2.00 to me, the manner in which the situation was handled left a negative impression.
I believe this constitutes false advertising and overcharging, and I took photos of the receipt and menu considering reporting this incident to Fair Trading. I hope that the staff are trained to handle customer concerns with professionalism...
