Had dinner with my friends a few days ago. Food took ages to arrive, we waited for so long that we finished 2 whole glass bottles of water before the first dish arrived.

We ordered the galbi risotto, clam pasta, grilled intestines and truffle fries. The galbi risotto was the only food I would recommend.

We also found a dead cockroach on the iron pot which the grilled intestines arrived in (I will spare everyone from the photo). It was not a pleasant sight, and caused great disappointment in the poor food-health and safety of this restaurant, especially after waiting so long for our food.

The staff offered to bring it back to the kitchen and serve us a new plate of grilled intestines but we were highly skeptical (what's to say that they didn't simply remove the cockroach and serve us the original dish again?). As compensation, we received three strips of melon prosciutto and a free drink. However, our night had already turned sour.

Overall, service was quite poor given that there were no appropriate utensils to eat my risotto with, except for the pre-prepared chopsticks and soup spoons. I would have expected such a popular restaurant to be considerate of the customers, and either have the appropriate utensils on the table before customers sit down, or have the utensils provided together with the food. There were also no knives for me to separate the galbi rib with, as it was stuck on a big bone - see picture below. Therefore, I had to wait an additional amount of time to catch a server's attention, ask for the basic utensils, and wait again for them to come back, in order to eat the risotto.

Additionally, please note that the entrance to the toilet is directly next to where the dishes are being delivered from the kitchen for staff to collect and serve to tables. The lighting inside was very dim, I noticed some tables sitting in almost complete darkness. My first impression was that it looked dingy and run-down, which was very different from the other reviews I have seen on Google. Luckily, we got a table right next to one of the few lamps.

Will not be coming back here again until they have reviewed their management and made improvements to the...

I could say I'm a big fan of The Late Night Table. I often visit with my friends, even though I don’t drink. I have way too many food photos from this place in my camera roll, which probably says it all. I’m writing this to share the happiness I’ve felt here, hoping it adds to the joy of others who visit this restaurant. I’ve been consistently satisfied with the food, the service, the vibe, literally every aspect of the experience.

1️⃣💕Their Galbi Risotto is my all-time favourite. I’ve never had a risotto with such a deep, savoury umami flavour. Honestly, it’s the best risotto I’ve ever had in my life.

2️⃣💕My second soul food here is the Uni Oil Pasta. If you're into oil based pasta, this dish is a must try!. Rich, flavourful, and unforgettable.

When it comes to grilled large intestines, they offer both plain and seasoned versions. Both are great, but I personally recommend the seasoned one. While I’m not much of a drinker, I have to say their Honey Makgeolli is really tasty. It’s definitely worth trying! And the Late Night Table 5 Hap, which includes five kinds of seafood served with wasabi and seaweed, is clean and refreshing.

They also offer takeaway service, which I use quite often. I usually order the Spicy Large Intestine Tteokbokki and Beef Tendon Pot for takeaway. I love how they pack the food with generous portions, and it's all neatly sealed like a meal kit. The noodles and rice cakes don’t get soggy at all. You just put everything together and heat it up when you’re ready to eat. Super convenient!

Honestly, I think I’ve tried almost everything on the menu and there hasn’t been a single miss. Everything is consistently delicious. Recently, Burrata Cheese Salad is back. I really hope more people get to try it! The combination of cherry tomatoes, basil pesto, and creamy burrata is just perfect.

From my experience, all the hall staff here are kind and attentive. Keep it up!

I feel like an unofficial ambassador for The Late Night Table after writing this review. 😂 Whether you come with friends, family, or even solo, you’re guaranteed a happy...

Worst experience ever!!!

My friend took her mum to have dinner with us, and the staff gave us attitude since we walked in without any reason. There was a pathway next to the cash counter without any sign . Friend’s mum went to find the toilet through that pathway, and staff came to tell us with a very arrogant tone that she was not allowed to go from there. We didn’t want to have any argument at the first time so we SAID: “sorry we didn’t know, will let her mum know when she comes back.” Then her mum got lost when she was trying to find the toilet and accidentally went to the kitchen. The staff came to us and request us to make an apology with very rude attitude.

Hey, her mum didn’t go to your kitchen on purpose ok? She GOT LOST as there is no sign in your restaurant!! What makes your staff be so condescending and ask for an apology for your lack of caring and your mistake of not putting any sign in your restaurant??!!

My friend was getting mad by the staff’s rude attitude, so she SAID, “ ok I am so sorry but can you go away? Just leave us alone?” And we totally lost mood of continuing this dinner and decided to pay the bill and leave this place ASAP ( haven’t even finished the food yet).

So please don’t reply the same words as what you left to my friend’s comments. We told you to go away for a reason. I thought customers normally pay bills for your food and your service, not for argument and attitude right? I guess probably this is a wired way of your marketing strategy - trying to piss all the customers to get famous? If yes, then good luck, and will never ever come back and 100% NOT recommend anyone here. Thanks for re-identifying what is “NOT...

(3.5 stars) While I thought I was familiar with the dining options in North Strathfield, somehow the whole Bakehouse Quarter thing passed me by. Tucked under duelling overpasses, it’s a cool dining district that is housed in the old Arnott's Biscuits factory. Korean is particularly well represented in the area’s restaurant offerings, with Myeong Dong Korean Restaurant garnering the most attention and a long queue. Late Night Table seems to be an after-dark takeover of a cafe called The Table. It puts out fusion food for the young generation in big shareable serves. Gopchang (intestines) are the speciality of the house, served grilled, as a hot pot (motsu nabe) or over rice in horumon don. Not quite feeling up to the challenge, we kicked off with a burrata cheese salad ($19) where the plump white cheese was surrounded by a ring of colourful cherry tomatoes floated in a lake of olive oil with vinegar passed separately. The signature spicy chicken ($37) is a big serve—we ended up taking enough home for lunch the next day. It’s also a creeper—deceptively easy to eat, but you’ll soon feel the chilli burn deep in the pit of your stomach. Clam suljjim pasta ($32) goes heavy on the clams, and as a result, gets a lot of briny flavour into the long thin pasta. It’s another generous serve. The menu oddball, gambas al ajillo, eats better than it looks. Tucked amongst the pale but plentiful crustaceans on a sizzling hot plate you’ll find tasty strips of potato and tiny champignons dripping in garlic oil. We mopped it up against Kloud beer ($5) and shots of a smooth, gentle distilled vodka-like spirit, Yeon Nam Yeon Ga ($25) while staff fiddled with disco lights.

This was our first time coming here with my family and friends — and it turned into an absolute nightmare. My 2-year-old daughter suffered a horrific injury from using your so-called "toilet." I can’t even tell you how the food tasted because the service was already ridiculously slow, despite only three tables being occupied at 1PM on a Sunday. But what’s far more disturbing — those two broken metal stools in the toilet. You can’t even call them chairs. Completely unstable, totally unsafe, and worst of all — *no warning sign, no notice, nothing.* My daughter sat on one which it looks all good, it collapsed underneath her, and she fell hard. Her chin was split open. There was blood everywhere😭😭😭and keeping bleeding for couple of hours already! When we told the waiter what happened, the only response we got was: I don’t know about it.” Not a single word of apology or a shred of concern. After we talked to him, he just went back to the kitchen with no any solution provided! It is really my first time been through this kind of experience. Absolutely shocked! and now I have to worry not just about her physical injury, but whether she was exposed to any infections from a dirty, hazardous unisex toilet. God only knows what she may have been cut by… I would never come back again and will be seeking legal advice! Just post it here for others can pay more attention on it!
