If you're craving authentic Lebanese manoush, Mount Lewis pizzeria is the place to be. From the moment you walk in, Jacinta creates a cozy atmosphere immediately makes you feel at home, with the tantalising aroma of freshly baked dough and spices in the air.
The service here is exceptional. Jacinta, goes above and beyond to ensure every customer feels welcome. Her friendly demeanour and deep knowledge of the menu make for a personalised experience. She’s always happy to recommend a dish or explain the ingredients, making you feel like you're dining at a friend’s home rather than just another pizzeria.
As for the food, Jacinta’s takes the humble manoush to a whole new level. The dough is perfectly thin and crispy on the outside while soft and pillowy on the inside, offering that perfect balance. The toppings are generous and fresh, with options ranging from the traditional za'atar and cheese to more inventive creations with lamb or vegetables. The spice levels are just right, and you can tell that the ingredients are high-quality, each bite bursting with flavor.
What stands out, however, is the subtle yet perfect balance of flavors in the manoush. The za'atar is fragrant without being overpowering, and the cheese melts into the dough beautifully. Each manoush feels carefully crafted, reflecting the attention Jacinta and her team put into every dish.
Jacinta offers a true taste of Lebanon with a modern, personal twist. Whether you’re a longtime fan of manoush or trying it for the first time, you’ll leave satisfied, and likely already planning...
Read moreThis store has no idea how to manage there store . I waited over 1hour for 5 pizzas along with many other angry customers . They were priotisting uber orders and DINE in customers before takeout orders . Customers who ordered 40mins after me who choose to dine in were served first meaning mine order keept getting pushed back more and more . I couldn't believe it how they run the store the more customers that were dinning in mine and many other customers orders was getting pushed back . They were not going by who placed an order first they went by what was convenient for them at the time example small x1 pizza order uber orders or dine in orders pushing takeouts customers order further back more and more. It wasn't until I had to raise my voice until they began to concentrate on my order 1 hour and half later . Another lady waited from 10.30 am till 12pm for her order. It was discusting how they managed this store my children spent there eid one hour in the car whilest I stood in the shop coming out smelling like SMELLY dough. Manoush. Labneh. Veggies. Zaatar. Scrambled eggs. Tea. 👌🏽The way we had breakfast growing up!
We checked out Mt. Lewis Pizzeria and we’re shook by how authentic and delicious everything was. They use a saj to cook the manoosh - a traditional dome shaped oven to cook flat pillowy sheets of bread - gives it a unique texture and flavour, crispy on the bottom but soft and chewy in the middle.
And to top it off, we had it with a plate of fresh veggies, a plate of mouthwatering Labneh yoghurt and fūl - cooked fava beans flavored with lemon juice, garlic and served with olive oil, chopped parsley & tomatoes.
Following our massive breakfast, we tried there Nutella pide which was absolutely incredible! But then we took away some of their Biscoff and Nutella Moneybags and WOWWW!! We we’re absolutely AMAZED! We absolutely cleaned the boxes out, leaving none to share for the family 🤷🏽♂️sorry, not sorry 🤣
