I would give this place 0 stars if I could! This afternoon, I ordered a fish cocktail and chips for my son and we waited for about 30mins. It’s actually not only about the wait! After seeing everyone come after us but got their order before us and left, my poor son asked the employee about his order. The male employee stood behind the counter rudely answered “fish cocktails take long to cook.” Then, the male employee turned over, packed up a half eaten fish and chips and a half squeezed lemon and gave it to us! We queried him as we had been watching his actions all along and was disgusted by his defensive response that “no one touched it!”At that same moment, a man sitting with his wife near the counter spoke out, admitting they ate it. He clarified “I half ate the piece before I realised it was the wrong order so I returned it.” All of us were overwhelmed with this employee’s actions by giving my son the eaten food, instead of making a new one! Not one apology or sign of remorse from him! I refused new food and asked for my $9.90 back even after my son had been hungry waiting. This employee really failed to meet customer service standards and hygiene regulations! I am very disgusted! I have always liked the fresh seafood next door but would never buy anything from here again! PLEASE TAKE THIS AS A FIRM WARNING BEFORE YOU CONSIDER EATING HERE!

Read moreMy wife and I are new to the area so we went to Bankstown central shopping centre to see what shops they had. We came across Lobster Tail seafood Bankstown to see what they had. We were pointing out seafood items to each other that we’ve cooked and eaten before. When we got the freezer section a female employee yelled out what can I get you. I said sorry we’re just browsing she said ok then proceeded to walk around the counter and walk right up to us. She walked right up to use and started staring at our eyes with an aggressive look. We just ignored her and continued with our conversation as we slowly walked out of the store but as we were exiting the store she started following us closely and she was so close that if we turned around we would of bumped into her. I’m assuming she was trying to remove us from the store and also blocking us from going back to have a second look at something we saw which we didn’t do. I don’t know why she felt the need to intimidate us but we will be sure to let everyone we know what happened and recommended other places to go to...

As you can see in the photo there was a fish hook still attached to it (originally hooked from the inside we had to take it out to see what it was) Thank God no one consumed it. Very disappointing to find this object along with the lack of customer service. The male employee that was serving my father asked whether he’d like the fish to be cleaned my father replied Yes! Unfortunately, a female employee present said “no we’re closing down“. No matter, the circumstance you should go the extra mile for your customers. If that had been done, this would’ve been avoided.
Doesn’t matter that my father has to thoroughly clean the fish at home, it should be in perfect condition upon purchasing it.
