If you’re looking for authentic, mouth-watering Mandi that hits the spot every time, All Faisal Mandi is the place to go. From the moment you walk in, the experience is nothing short of fantastic. Whether you’re a long-time fan of Middle Eastern cuisine or trying Mandi for the first time, this restaurant offers something truly special that keeps customers coming back again and again.

One of the standout features of All Faisal Mandi is the quality and authenticity of their dishes. The rice is perfectly spiced, fluffy, and aromatic—exactly what you’d expect from traditional Mandi. The meat, whether you go for the chicken, lamb, or even the fish options, is incredibly tender, well-marinated, and full of flavor. It practically falls off the bone and melts in your mouth. Every bite reflects the time and care that goes into preparing their food, which is what really sets them apart from other places.

The portion sizes are generous too, making it great value for money. Even a regular plate can be shared between two people, especially when paired with their sides like salad, spicy sauces, and soups. The chilli sauce in particular deserves a mention—spicy, tangy, and adds the perfect kick to an already flavorful dish.

The service is just as impressive as the food. The staff are friendly, respectful, and attentive without being overbearing. You’re greeted with a smile and seated quickly, even during busy hours. If you’re new to Mandi or unsure what to order, the staff are always happy to recommend popular dishes and explain what goes into each meal. You can tell they genuinely care about your experience.

The restaurant itself has a clean and welcoming atmosphere. The traditional seating options on the floor give it a more authentic vibe for those who want a cultural experience, but there are also regular tables for people who prefer a more conventional setting. Families, groups of friends, and even solo diners will feel comfortable and looked after here.

All Faisal Mandi also handles large groups really well. It’s the perfect place to bring friends or family for a casual dinner or celebration. The food comes out hot and on time, and you never feel rushed. If you’re ordering takeaway, it’s packaged carefully to keep everything fresh, and you get the same quality as you would dining in.

In short, All Faisal Mandi isn’t just a restaurant—it’s an experience. It blends quality food, welcoming service, and a relaxing environment into one unforgettable meal. Whether you’re a Mandi enthusiast or simply looking to try something new, you won’t regret giving this place a try. It’s clear that the owners and staff take pride in what they do, and it shows in every aspect of the dining experience. Highly...

Today, my dining experience at Al-Faisal was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment we stepped into the restaurant, we were enveloped in an inviting atmosphere that set the stage for a memorable evening. The environment was warm and welcoming, a perfect blend of elegance and comfort, making it an ideal spot for both casual dining and special occasions.

The highlight of our visit, however, was undoubtedly the food. We had Mandi, and undoubtedly it was the best Mandi in Sydney.

Yet, what truly elevated our experience at Al-Faisal was the outstanding service we received. The entire staff was attentive and friendly, creating a welcoming environment that made us feel valued as guests. However, one individual stood out among the rest: Era. Her exceptional service went above and beyond our expectations.

From the moment Era greeted us, her warmth and professionalism were apparent. She took the time to explain the menu, offering insightful recommendations that catered to our tastes. Throughout the meal, Era was always present when we needed her, yet she managed to be unobtrusive, allowing us to enjoy our dining experience without interruption.

In addition to her attentive service, Era's ability to connect with guests is commendable. She engaged us in conversation, sharing details about the dishes. This personal touch added a layer of intimacy to our dining experience, making us feel like valued guests rather than just another table in the restaurant.

This restaurant is a gem that deserves recognition not only for its remarkable cuisine but also for its exceptional service. Era’s outstanding contribution truly made our visit unforgettable. I wholeheartedly recommend Al-Faisal to anyone looking for a superb dining experience. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, this restaurant is a must-visit, and I encourage everyone to seek out Era for an unparalleled...

I booked 24 hours in advance. When I got there, they directed me to a spot with not enough seating despite me stating this in the booking. They moved me to another seat but say, "another group has booked this spot but I know you will be finished before they get here." We all order, 4 people get their meals and I ask where is my snapper. She says it's coming. 2nd waitress asks us how everything is, again I ask where is the snapper. She's says it's coming. 3rd waitress asks how is everything, again we say, where is the snapper. Light skinned Indian lady comes to us, again how is everything and now she has the white square expecting us to pay and get us out because everyone is finished and we are all just sitting there waiting for one meal. She asks the chefs who have not got my order. She gets the original waitress who finally admits she forgot to put my order for the snapper. Light skinned Indian lady admits mistake and apologises for the 1st waitresses mistake. We wait for another 20 minutes. Arab waitress asks everyone how their meal is and they all say it is unfair how the other waitresses just dismissed our questions. It could have been prevented. She goes onto say, well the chefs are busy alright! Actually there were only three tables at that point so enough with the lies. The audacity to give attitude when you are in the wrong and then we pay $230 for food we could have got from Auburn for half the price. Completely...

Faisal Mandi in Bankstown offers a wonderful dining experience with authentic Middle Eastern flavors and generous portions. The Mutton Mandi is a standout — tender, slow-cooked bone-in mutton infused with traditional spices and served over aromatic, smoky mandi rice. It comes with a side of tangy salsa and creamy yogurt that perfectly complement the richness of the dish. The Chicken Maqluba is beautifully layered with chicken, fried eggplant, potatoes, and tomatoes, flipped to reveal an impressive presentation. The accompanying yogurt dip and house salsa add fresh and bold flavors that enhance the dish. The Flame Chicken Skewer is marinated with chili, paprika, garlic, and citrus, then fire-grilled to give it a delicious smoky char and juicy texture. For dessert, the Mango Tres Leches is creamy, rich, and bursting with fresh mango flavor — a refreshing and indulgent way to finish the meal. The staff are friendly and attentive, and the restaurant provides a comfortable, casual setting. Whether you’re after traditional Yemeni mandi or other Middle Eastern specialties, Faisal Mandi is a great choice in Bankstown. Highly recommended!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I honestly don’t even know where to start , everything about this restaurant is perfect. The staff are incredibly friendly and caring. They kept checking on us to make sure we were okay, needed anything, or enjoyed the food. It didn’t even feel like I was dining out , it felt like having a meal with family. The atmosphere is so cozy, warm, and welcoming such a lovely, family-style environment. And the food… oh my god! It was absolutely amazing , every bite felt like heaven. I actually told one of the staff that I’m on a diet, but after trying the food, I completely forgot about it. I was like, Forget my diet, I’ll just do an extra hour at the gym tomorrow 😄 That’s how good it was. The drinks were also top-notch beautifully made, refreshing, and full of flavour. I highly recommend everyone to try their drinks (I’ve even added some pictures on the website because they looked so good. It’s such a perfect spot for birthdays, parties, or just a cozy dinner. The interior, the environment, the food, the drinks , everything was beyond amazing. I genuinely have nothing to complain about. Everything was just… perfect. 💯

⭐⭐⭐☆☆ (3/5) Tried Al Faisal Mandi today. We ordered the Lamb Mandi, rice was good, lamb was tender, but it didn’t quite have the authentic Mandi taste. It felt more like a lamb shank pulao than a true Mandi. The Flame Chicken skewers had great flavor and were nicely spiced, but the presentation could use improvement. Serving on a dark plate (grey/black) or adding some greens on a white plate would make it much more appealing. The blue sauce on the top of flame chicken wasn’t appetizing and overall, this dish didn’t feel value for money. The Golden Prawns mostly tasted of saffron and were not very enjoyable. Personally, I would prefer tandoori prawns or fried prawns instead. We also tried the Mutton Zafarani Biryani (weekend special), but it tasted quite average and the mutton quality itself could be better. On the positive side the ambience and staff were fantastic. Really warm and welcoming, which made the overall experience enjoyable. This is a new restaurant with a lot of potential, and I truly want to encourage them. Hopefully, they take these food-related suggestions seriously for further improvement.
