The Coffee Emporium Bankstown 2 — Restaurant in Sydney

dispicable to say the least. Inconsistent coffee, sometimes it’s nice other times it’s horrible & comes out almost cold. Most of the waitresses are rude, dry & act like they are frustrated and hate their job which to be honest I almost don’t blame them because of the owner who is the old man that works there. I have been going there for about 4 years straight weekly & not because I like their coffee but because my family & friends enjoy the big seating area & they are mostly smokers. The other day I ordered an iced coffee and when I tasted it it had NO flavor so I politely said “hey can I just get a pump of Caramel syrup added to sweeten it” in which the owner raised his voice and in the rudest tone responds with “if you had asked for a caramel iced coffee I would have made that but you didn’t say that you said iced coffee , you should’ve told me before Now we have to re-blend it” and took it out of my hands with an annoyed face & there next to him was a a tall blonde waitress standing their with a disgusted look on her face giving me dirties as if I had just yelled the place down when in actuality I should have from their disgusting service . I was honestly appalled at his reaction , never ever going back there again! Disgusting customer service ! 1 star is too much for...

Came for a coffee with 4 people today and asked for a table of 5. There were atleast 4-5 tables available that I could see. Waiter asked if we're going to have coffee only or eat, I advised coffee only. So he looked around and said he'll put us on the outside tables. I asked why, he said the indoor tables are reserved. Somehow if we were there to eat, a table cancellation would have came through making it available instantly. Looks like coffee-only people get 2nd-class citizen tables because they're not spending $100 on his overpriced food. After all, the place is called COFFEE Emporium, so perhaps he needs to rethink his business model. This is the same owner that tries to show his good charity and community engagement apparently.

Your waiter was ready to provide us interior seating if we said we're eating, otherwise he wouldn't have asked "are you guys having coffee only, or dining?" I'm well aware of this foolish tactic to turn away customers taking up a seat whose return on investment per seat is comparatively...

First time we visited and it was an average experience . First of all the menu was really difficult to read like we ordered ice coffee and the girl said it’s the middle price like it was very difficult to understand with the whole takeaway situation like you should have a seperate menu for takeaway and seperate for dine in. Also the Coffee saucer were all chipped and the coffee was cold. The iced coffee was really disappointing it had a chunk of ice cream in it without properly being blended and it was really bitter, not like the one at Punchbowl where it was like a nice iced coffee . The presentation was also average the side of the glass were all dirty with the whipped cream leaking and the powder all over the glass . The staff were ok not really friendly or greeting. The banana smoothie was overly sweet ruining the taste of the banana. Like if your charging more for dining in the at least give the service . So yeah first time but wasn’t the best experience .
