Let's Say Ngon — Restaurant in Sydney

I have eaten here a few times and always found the food to be great, fresh ingredients, friendly staff, BYO, a must try, will be going back.

I wrote this last at my last visit and today wish to update.

On Saturday I had a function there for over 30 people. Communication was great and the owners 'My and Duy' who are lovely and caring people. Duy is an amazing chef. I was able to set up the room as I wished. The function was a success and everyone loved the venue, location and the food was amazing, we were all impressed, young and old, they catered for pescatarians, vegetariians and vegans. Everyone who attended want to come back, even those who traveled a great distance. I highly recommend 'Let's Say Ngon' for any function.

My Husband and I had a late night on Sunday and last minute decided to eat out but there were few places open at that time. I googled 'restaurants near me' and this place was one of that popped up. We decided to check it out and immediately were drawn in by the location and set up of the place. it was like we had been transported! It was beautiful! I can't remember the name of the dishes we ordered but we ordered a pork belly hot pot dish and a crispy chicken dish with tomato rice and garlic rice on the side. We had dinner here last night and it was very good. Hidden away down an alley, you'll see a sign out on the main footpath to indicate you're there. There is plenty of covered outdoor seating and a few tables inside the small restaurant. We ordered the pho salad, crispy skin chicken, creme caramel pudding, and fried ice cream.

The pho salad was something different and quite light and refreshing. Loved the addition of pickles. The crispy skin chicken was generously portioned with 2 drumsticks and 2 thigh pieces. It was extremely crispy and juicy.

The fried ice cream was mainly batter but still tasted good, and the creme caramel was nice and smooth, a little on the firm side.
