LifeGrain Sutherland — Restaurant in Sydney

I’ve had consistently disappointing experiences at LifeGrain Cafe. Even when it’s not busy, there’s always a long wait for food. When the order finally comes out, it’s often burnt, undercooked, cold, or dry—even though it might look good at first. Staff leave food sitting there even after the buzzer goes off. The food is overpriced for the portion sizes, which makes it even more frustrating when it’s poorly cooked. On top of that, when there are only two staff members working, it’s a nightmare—you’re left standing in line forever. The team seems disorganised, with staff focused on making coffees but not actually serving customers. Unfortunately, the service and food quality just don’t justify the price...

Way overpriced dry food, choice minimal, wait extensive. Staff waiting for food or coffee are losing most of their break waiting! Unacceptable!! Public holiday/weekend surcharge fine but put more than 2 staff on as the customers are paying the surcharge to cover the cost, the wait time was ridiculous - so is putting your staff under that pressure. Sutherland Hospital needs to get a new cafe operator. This one is too expensive and lacks service and variety of food. Not everyone wants egg sandwiches and stale little...

This type of behavior is concerning! Threats like that shouldn’t be tolerated! This customer should realise this is an assault & crime under our laws!

Staff are all very lovely & pleasant. They do their best to serve, that is including Max.

Max is extremely friendly, polite & most importantly makes us best coffee.
