Iāve been a loyal customer of Luigiās Pizza Bar since 2020 and have continued visiting even after moving to a different neighbourhood ā thatās how much I valued the consistently great experience I used to get here. The pizzas were always solid, and it became a go-to spot for me over the years.
Unfortunately, my most recent experiences have completely changed that. I placed a late order close to closing time, and the pizza base was undercooked (see picture) ā pretty disappointing considering Iād driven a fair distance to pick it up. Thankfully, Raj handled it really well, acknowledged the issue and kindly offered to make the next pizza on the house, which I truly appreciated.
However, when I returned to redeem the complimentary pizza as promised, the ownerās attitude was shockingly poor. He got rude with me, asking me to pay for oregano and chilli flakes, and even said, āMate, we need to earn money and protect ourselves from customers who take advantage of us.ā Iāve spent about $200 a year here, loyally supporting the business for four years, and theyāve decided to lose a long-time customer over a $25 pizza they themselves offered to make right.
So yes, I did get my complimentary pizza, but I walked out knowing Iād never return. That kind of attitude toward regular, respectful customers is unacceptable. If youāre considering Luigiās, be warned ā consistency in food means little when itās not matched by basic decency in service. Good riddance.

Thanks, feel free to reach out for any further feedback on the employees. Your CRM obviously has my details. Hope you are able to fix the rude and obnoxious behaviour of the āemployeesā.
Also, I feel like you are the first pizza place I have come across that charges for oregano and chilli flakes. Itās as good as charging extra for...
Ā Ā Ā Read more26/Aug/2025 - having shown promise, I ordered a pizza last night. I want to compliment them on their skill and artistry. Firstly, how did they manage to cut the cabanossi so thin? Years ago I worked in a laboratory where we used a microtome to cut cells for microscopic examination, and even we couldn't have cut the cabanossi this thin. And the ham, or at least that what I think it was. So delicate AND transparent. If I said this pizza had any flavour, next I'd be telling you Donald Trump was an honest man. If this pizza @ $26 didn't nett Luigi $23 I'd be demanding answers. The only thing I could taste was a hint of Mozzarella. I mentioned the sparse topping a year ago and you've gone in the wrong direction to even less. It's OK. I'll try you again in 7 years (if you're still in business). 2024/Aug - the "flash" to get back to buy another pizza took 7 years and I'm glad to report an uplift in quality - BUT. I'm confused, because the dough is not traditional pizza dough. It's soft and spongy, almost like a crepe. Not unpleasant, but definitely a different mouth feel. What I do have to take exception with are the toppings. To be kind, they are barely adequate, to be mean, they are underwhelming. And the variety across the Traditional range is basically the same minus onion, capsicum and anchovies. The change is not enough to make me a regular, but I'll probably be back under 7 years. 2017 - Better than Domino/Pizza Hut. But still not good pizza. Just about anyone in the area make a better tasting pizza. I don't like to rain on these guys because they are hardworking, friendly and efficient. But they need to get out there and taste other shops pizzas. Lift your game and be...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWouldn't know how good the pizza is as we waited 2 hours before cancelling our delivery. Seemed overpriced but we were hoping for quality pizza and decided to take a chance. Unfortunately this place failed our expectations and we will never get to experience the taste of food made from Luigi's Pizza Bar. Oh when we called in to ask where our Pizza might be (after the first hour) some arrogant young man answered the phone to address our concerns. Seems like this guy has never heard of customer service or maybe the business is making so much money it doesn't matter. His solution was that "if the pizza hasn't arrived in 15mins then call back in and we'll organise a credit for future store use". Why would I order from this place again?
Sitting here Starving waiting for Pizza Hut delivery... their pizza might not be gourmet but at least we'll get to start eating it...
