Macchina Espresso Kingsgrove (Grays Arcade) — Restaurant in Sydney

If you are in Kingsgrove, don't be overly confused by Macchina Espresso showing in two locations. . It is not a misprint. Macchina Espresso bought out the espresso bar on the highway and has set up the shop closer to Woolworths as their roaster and kitchen. Btw.. this review is for the cafe closer to Woolworths.

As for the coffee, given that they are roasting in house, it almost goes without saying that they are passionate about their product. Refusing to sell single origin roasts that are too young shows that they are focused on quality.

Their house blend as a mac was not overly dark, but still something that, in comparison to the "Surry Hills light roast" is certainly more robust. Either way it finished well. That they normally have single origin roasts is also a great sign.

If you are in the area this cafe is going to be the obvious choice.

Upmost enjoyable morning breakfast at this location the staff all happy and smiling and In a good vibe. That is what a coffee business needs and everyone having fun whilst at work . Food is upmost filling great, tastes really good and it’s filling. You will get what you pay for the moment you walk in your welcomed served by the amazing smiling lady then your order is taken your coffee gets called out you sit and your served with amazing big Breakfast of scrambled eggs tomatoes mushrooms toast avocado lettuce and. Greek cheese. , and hash brown, and sausage you will not need to eat until dinner well that’s for me I’m not a big Easter but not to say the good service staff all a thumbs up thank you so much proud to have such a great coffee shop such as Maccina expresso Kingsgrove .ten out of ten to all staff members that work here including the operator . Was ok. Not the best cafe in the area. Maybe I've just been spoilt from Shaw St espresso all this time. Im a local and thought I'd try this place. I ordered the big breakfast. A few things could of made it amazing. Just my opinion but may I suggest, the spinach could of used some garlic, I found it soggy and watery and flavourless. Also would of been nice to add some pesto and garlic to the mushrooms. I thought it was far too plain. Downsize the bacon portion, do it all crispy throw the cheap sausage out and add some nice beans in a sauce topped with a little fetta instead. I think then that breaky would be amazing. Coffee was fine. Will go back just for a coffee. Sorry it was not a more positive review. But thanks for an ok...
