Came in for a light lunch so decided to get a traditional pork roll. I’m a firm believer that as long as the bread roll is nice, the pork roll will be good regardless. Unfortunately the pork roll was very standard and I don’t think standard pate was used. It tasted like a pate mixed with sardines or something similar as it had a very peculiar taste…. Like i don’t mind sardines, however this was quite overpowering and I couldn’t taste anything else. I did try the pickled carrots before I bit into it and that was great. Nice balance of sweetness and tang. Decent amount of filling also. Customer service was great. I think if the bread is improved for a lighter and crispier roll and the pate recipe removes all non standard pate ingredients, I think this will be nice. Annoyed by the fact they charge a 3% surcharge just for using eftpos on a selection of bread rolls. Are businesses allowed to charge such rates? Doesn't seem right nor fair. I understand if operating on a public holiday, but on a normal Saturday? Lady said to bring cash instead next time. Makes me question whether this business is legitimate or not. The bacon and cheese roles were also dripping in oil, not very nice. I've bought pork rolls before on a number of occasions and never been charged...

Favorite Vietnamese (La French) bakery in Kingsgrove area. .Large selection of breads ,pastries,cakes and pies. Decent vietnamese chicken & pork roll .

Very attentive and polite staff. They open early and usually have a good selection of fresh breads in the mornings. Pastry is ok nothing special, not quite flaky or buttery as the French would make it. Their breads are nice.

Prices are quite reasonable and parking available close by. Cash preferred Eftos available...
