Machi Machi Mascot — Restaurant in Sydney

I ordered a bubble tea . I was alone in the shop . I waited for around 20 minutes sitting down waiting for my order to be ready. After not getting it called I approached the Machi Machi representative, I then saw my order there sitting next to him. He said he forgot to call my order. I asked for a new one since I didn't want the bubble tea watered down by the ice.

A lady called Tracy then came out claiming that the bubble tea was fine and refused to replace the bubble tea.

I ended up throwing away Machi Machi's bubble tea in the garbage since it was a little gift for someone.

I went to Tea Republic Mascot. A little bit more expensive but the experience is worth it. Better ingredients, excellent customer service, free candy while ordering, different size of straws for the customer to pick.

So Machi Machi never again, Tea Republic is definitely the way to go if you are looking for a good bubble...

Worst customer service. The wait is far too long, I waited about 20 to 25 minutes from the time I arrived to the time I left. Oat milk tea was essentially just oat milk, no tea flavour at all. Management needs to step up and support their employees with proper training, and their customers with a good experience. Maybe get a camera so you can see when customers are waiting to be served, or a sound when someone walks through the door. This is not the first time the service has been poor, it’s a regular thing. Honest Review Here , I'm not sure what it is with this Machi, but it appears that no matter how long it runs, the service does not improve. I lived in Mascot in 2020, moved out in 2022, and am now returning to Mascot in 2024 to visit. The only thing that has stayed the same over the last four years is the service.
