Sugarbaby Espresso — Restaurant in Sydney

I will say best coffee in mascot station area. The cafe itself is just not efficiently ran. Many times waited more that 10 min for coffee. For over a year that didn't quite lead me to give a review. I am a loyal customer and i used to recommend them to people. However after last Sunday, i have rethink. Three of us went for breakie. Besides the 20 min wait for coffee orders. They went on to say they had no avocado for the veg breakfast, no large cups for coffee and then had to wait and ask for knifes and forks, 5 min wait looking at food feels like 30min!! When my breakfast was served I ate about a quarter of it, then moved egg and bean dish. There I saw a black hair (i am blonde) after working in resturants for years. I didn't approach it without tact, these things happen. I waited for a waiter however 30min later no one came down. Just left my meal. When we were finished and wanted to pay. i brought up my plate showed them. A manager ( I think) came out to speak to me. I couldn't quite believe what i heard. He said it must be my hair, i stated if you can see i have blonde long hair. He said it wasn't the kitchen staff, they all have thick black hair noone has thin black hair and again said must be mine, somehow he came to a conclusion that it must of been from a mushroom !!! In all my years of working and being part of a family run resturant ESPECIALLY as a long time customer. If something is wrong with food, you take it seriously, perhaps if i ate it all then you could perhaps question it. However never treat your customer as though they don't matter. We went for breskfast at 10.05, we left at 11.40. We were patient, reasonable even paid in full for breakfasts that didnt have avocado. Then not even a courtesy apology. Many customers don't want freebies, its about the customer service in full. That is 100% how you loose loyal customers. Sugarbaby have lost everyday coffee customers, every weekend breakfast goers. This equals to a loss of $140 pw, for what i ask? To keep $19 in the till, i really feel businesses have no long term goals anymore!!...

Every time We come here for breakfast on a Sunday morning it never disappoints. Their large portions, cheaper than average prices and fast service. The food is delicious, well presented and the staff are friendly. Very fast service. Orders usually to the table in 15 mins. Their coffees are great too! The only thing that would be an improvement would be to wipe the tables down with a antibacterial Cleaner regularly as the flies can get annoying and for some reason the they look as though they are attracted to the table surfaces. 5 stars for the food...

It is a cute cafe. Located close to mascot station. Ordered a coffee and eggs benedict - at the time it was fine; good, delicious. However went got home, got really sick (it was the pretty much the only thing I ate from that point on for the rest of the day and remained unwell, bathroom wasn’t fun) after eating it… hopefully it was just a one off thing but it certainly felt like food poisoning or similar at the time, that’s unfortunately why a star or two is lost -otherwise service was quick and...
