Mad Mex Sydney International Airport T1 — Restaurant in Sydney

So many reviews focused on complementing one lady makes me doubt if they are even genuine. Worst service ever. Date 19 Sept 2024, 7pm. We were a group of 7 adults and locals living in Sydney who regularly eat Mexican food at various venues. We knew what we were ordering. The lady staff is very rude and very unfriendly. I asked for a burrito and also questioned why they don't add the guacamole to the burrito, the lady said " the avocados are getting expensive." The other staff was busy cleaning the floor during the rush hour and only one staff catering all the customers. They forgot to serve the drinks, even after reminding and waiting. I had to go back to the counter and ask them if I could serve the drinks myself from the fridge. The burritos were not wrapped properly and were very soggy. Pathetic customer service. The staff is only completing their hours and not interested in any business...

After visiting this store on the 16th of October around 2:30pm I must say I am extremely unimpressed. The customer service here is absolutely appalling, the woman who served us displayed an unhappy attitude and no respect or manners what so ever towards her customers, almost as if she wasn’t in the mood to serve us. After taking a glance at the food you can easily spot that it is not fresh and isn’t tasty due to the fact she packed our wraps with so much beans it was over flowing, however she didn’t even give us what we wanted. In contrast to other stores this Mad Mex doesn’t give you a wide variety of toppings to put in your meal which is quite concerning considering that all stores let you choose as you’d like . This is all to say that I would definitely not recommend this restaurant as the food is not fresh in appearance or taste and the customer service...

Mad Mex by far is one of the superior outlets for quick, absolutely delicious, and very healthy Mexican cuisine. Located in Terminal 2, Sydneys Domestic Airport, the prices are very cheap considering it is food based in an airport with my 'Naked burrito' costing around $13. They also have the option to make your meal spicy or non-spicy, depending if you want to wake yourself up before your flight. The staff are reasonably friendly, attentive and hardworking. The atmosphere is very inviting. One thing to also mention is that all Mad Mex outlets offers enviornmentally friendly takeaway arrangements (boxes, cutlery, tissues etc.) which is one of the major reasons why I like to go to Mad Mex for a meal. Highly recommend to anyone seeking a reasonable cheap, very delicious and quick service...
