Have bought pizzas, pastries and laham ageen from this place hundreds of times over the years for home, different occasions and for my kids school events and church fundraisers. Today, I placed an order totalling over $50 and when we got home the dozen of spinach pastry were not as we are used to it. The rest of the order was great. The spinach dough was rubbery and the filling was dry and tasted like dirt, we couldn’t eat it. Since we always buy from here I thought the right thing to do is to take it back to show them. I was speaking softly with the old lady behind the counter as there was a customer in there. The old lady was loud which made the customer pay attention. Then the owner who is supposed to be the person caring the most about customer satisfaction walks in, the lady tells him what I’ve told her and hell broke loose. He accused me of being a complainer and after a refund, to the point the other customer offered to take it so they can make me a new dozen in which I made it clear it’s not about making me a new batch or the money. The owner himself tasted it and firstly he said “there’s nothing wrong with it” and then he continued “maybe the dough is a bit thick”. He spoke over me loudly. I explained that this is a family favourite and we know how it tastes like, I thanked them, left the dozen of spinach on the counter top and walked out. I wasn't after a new dozen and I wasn’t after the money. I spent thousands of dollars over the years at your shop, and I wouldn’t order something to eat just to cost me fuel and time to return it back for few dollars. NOT EVERYONE IS MONEY HUNGRY! Be warned, don’t ever think you can express your dissatisfaction with their food. Otherwise you’ll be abused and called...
Read moreWe'd heard lots of good things about this place so I'm glad we were finally able to give it a go. 2 of our 3 pizzas were delicious. The garlic pizza had some sort of garlic paste instead of just fresh minced/chopped garlic and it was too overpowering. They also didn't have any sort of cheesy garlic bread. I asked if cheese could be put on the garlic pizza, but was told that would make it a cheese pizza, which would cost $16, but the garlic pizza is only $7.. Somehow I doubt $9 worth of cheese was going to be added to the pizza. Our vegetarian and margarita pizzas were delicious, we weren't charged for substituting an ingredient on the vegetarian which is good and how it should be. It would be nice if the margarita had some fresh tomato slices on it, and fresh herbs but it was still delicious. Also the margarita/vegetarian pizzas should be cheaper than those that have the same ingredients but then also have meat/seafood as well. It doesn't make sense for them all to be the same price when some have much cheaper ingredients. Overall we enjoyed our pizzas and...
Read moreThe Only Pizza establishment in the Old Mt.Druitt area. Incredible menu, flavours and most importantly, professional, friendly and Family like approach to each customer, walk-in or phone order. Parking is a bit of a "hit and miss" but you can't blame Maggie's Pizza for that and they do get very busy. Waiting time can be anywhere from 20min to an hour and a half, at worst. It's not because they are slow. It's because they are popular due to their menu and value for your money and everyone wants Maggie's Pizza! I'll definitely place another order and I will choose a pizza flavour that I haven't tried before. There is so much to choose from. Thank...
