We have been coming here for the last 6 years. We love the food! Hands down, one of the best Korean fried chicken for us! The chef is also fast, no matter how many orders we make, he delivers, fast! My only complain is one, of the staff (a larger-sized Korean lady) always serves in an unprofessional manner. Places dishes and food like she is always mad, like today we were there, she placed the side dish in a hurry (or angry?), the radish’s brine leaked on the table. And no, she was not apologetic afterwards. That lady rarely greets customers coming in and rarely smiles, too. I get that there are days that people might not be in their best mood, but she is like this ALL THE TIME.

UPDATE!!! Aug 2025 After my first google review, we came back and surprise surprise, THAT lady is not serving! I saw her around the store but not getting and serving orders. We were served by 2 young and very respectful gentlemen. We came back 2 more times after that and always greeted and served by those 2 gentlemen. We always commend their service and thanked them for being cheerful and attentive. Mind you, THAT lady is around the store, watching on the side lines. I think she's the owner's daughter/family otherwise she should have been fired a long time ago. I read the google reviews and most of them are complaints about her. If they want customers to stay, keep THAT lady away from...

Yeah just a warning for people like me who happened to be Korean and happened to unfortunately step foot in this place thinking that it was the restaurant before due to an inevitable point of time. It’s too expensive for a Korean food place with this sort of food quality. I felt neutral to the service. It didn’t really add to the experience. We ordered squid 돌솥 비빔밥 which you could taste the ingredients seperately and the ingredients was too spicy (and not fresh) and fish which you could tell was obviously frozen. The side dishes were sweet and sour which was obviously not a normal experience you would like to have. It wasn’t like any sidedish I had before in my life. It wasn’t even the bare minimum. It was just bad. I knew what it was to have it 새콤달콤 side dishes in the first time in my life. The rice was also more than a day old as I had to excavate into the rice as it was so hard. But I could see them putting in new rice at the side of at least 10 rice but they didn’t seem too fresh too. The surcharge is too much too for its quality. Please go to north strathfield myeongdong or hansang please just not here. I was reminded of the Korean show 골목식당 (where he transforms restaurants that don’t have good food like the Gordon Ramsay show run by Korea’s Baik) and the restaurants that are...

Been here many times over the year but the last time was over a year ago. Today, we bought pork backbone soup, seafood japchae, creamy onion fry chicken and seafood pancake takeaway. Firstly, the Seafood pancake was burnt and should never serve that to the customer. Then the seafood japchae (potato glass noodle), the noodle is over cooked so very soggy and the seafood doesn't taste right. The fish cake side dish is undercooked so slightly too tough. As for the fry chicken, we always get the boneless but when I arrive home, they gave us the chicken with bones. In the past, they always confirmed whether you want boneless or with bone. The last dish is pork backbone soup, I think it's ok but my wife said it taste different than before. I suspect there might be a change of ownership and the chef is most likely different than previous. I genuinely hope that they can improve as there aren't many Korean restaurants around this area.

If you told me there was a legit good Korean restaurant in my area I would've laughed because HOW... But I have been proven wrong!! MAMI IS SO GOOD. It's a bit on the more pricier side but you get lots of side dishes and two free dishes (the egg and the cheese corn). The budae jjigae here is SO GOOD!! budae jjigae is my favourite korean dish and they definitely do not skimp out on the ingredients! Theres a lot of tofu, a lot of spam, a lot of sausages, a lot of rice cake and a good sizeable pack of ramyun (with cheese on top!!). We got the small size for two of us and I was so impressed. It tasted great! The ddeokbokki here is great too! It's not very spicy which was a bit disappointing but still delicious nonetheless. We also had the spring onion boneless chicken and it was really good! The kimchi in the side dish was kinda salty which is my only let down but overall I am very happy with Mami!! 8/10 would come again.
