Mascot Charcol Chickens is a small, unassuming, family run business. I came on a weekday lunch. The shop was busy but service was very fast and efficient. As soon as I walked in, I was given a friendly greeting and adequate time to look at the menu before ordering. I ordered the quarter chicken and chips. I was asked which part of the chicken I would like, which I really appreciated. At most charcol chicken places I have been to, no options are given. I was also given a very friendly and sincere goodbye. Staff are not too busy to value their customers. Service here is great. The food here is good. I ordered the quarter chicken pack for $11.50. The portion was so huge! It could easily have been shared between two people or had leftovers for another time. Prices are excellent. The hot chips were cooked to order and were very satisfying. They were nice and crisp on the outside but fluffy on the inside. They were nicely seasoned with chicken salt. I enjoyed the chicken, too. It was meaty and succulent with a good flavour. I will definitely be back to try more items on the menu!

Food - great food selections, charcoal chicken is moist and flavourful. Gravy makes it taste better. Great selections of salad and would recommend the seafood. Portuguese tasted great as well, though i asked for the spicy sauce but i felt like it was not spicy at all. Souvlaki is also good. Service - can get crowded sometimes but staff were friendly and warm. They work like a well oiled machine. Atmosphere - small place not really ideal for dine in since you have to stand and if you do people will get in your way while they order.

First time ordering from Mascot Charcoal Chicken for lunch. I ordered the charcoal pack and went with the chicken caesar salad. A chicken caesar salad is a staple food when ordering from any charcoal chicken shop and separates the good from the great. Greatly disappointed as I wasted no time chomping down on the chicken caesar salad only to find an actual staple in my mouth. Wish I went for the seafood salad instead. The charcoal pack otherwise was delicious, and I enjoyed eating it but this was ruined by finding a staple in the chicken caesar salad, which is unexpected and unacceptable.

Ordered a quarter chicken, a devil wing with two salads. Pumpkin and bean salads with lemon topping. I hate the traditional Australian salads, but these two taste quite refreshing and not bitter at all (because spinach was the only green leaves veggie there). They actually serve salads in a large volume. So my friends were astonished when they saw me finished everything :D

Bei uns würde man dazu sagen schnitzelsemmel. Sie war echt lecker. Frisch zubereitet kein weiches Brot sondern schon knusprig und man schmeckte das es alles selbst gemacht wird
