Management needs an attitude readjustment. A youngster barely school leaver age represented that were the owner and manager. The self serving kiosk was malfunctioning and we were unable to place our order. We proceeded to order at the counter when the order was completed we asked for our 20% discount voucher from the app to be applied. The staff member explained that a manager would be required. The manager came to the front and said that the discount did not apply. I informed them that I had this issue previously and the manager applied the 20% discount. They proceeded to argue and raise their voice in front of other customers. A fellow customer interjected on my behalf and asked that she honour the discount and they argued again with this customer. Rather than deescalate they became more agitated and upset, my niece who was looking forward to her birthday at McDonalds was informed we couldn't have McDonald's all over a $9 discount. Many customers and staff witnessed the event. I tried to explain that it wasn't a good look that the manager behave in such an aggressive manner towards customers but was informed to leave. However, the drink (coke) was fantastic and really pleased my tastebuds. What really impressed me was the fact that the service was impeccable and all my requests were met at a high standard. So I had to talk to the staff counter, just to get my receipt number. I stood there for quite some time with the staff, who kept passing through, didn't ask if I need help.
