This morning I received the wrong order, but it turned out in the best way possible.
I ordered the brekky roll, and to my dismay, I received an eggs Benedict. Normally, when I receive the wrong food, so long as it is within the same price range and quality of what I originally ordered, I would simply eat whatever was given to me. 9 times out of 10 I am typically satisfied and it just saves everyone the hassle. Unfortunately, I am not a big fan of eggs Benedict, so I gave the cafe a call.
I don't know the gentleman's name, I wish I grabbed it before I ended the call, but I have to say he was so understanding, so kind, and very willing to help resolve the issue.
I ended up reordering the food, and let him know once it came through to make sure all was well, and he mentioned a surprise would be added to compensate for the mix up this morning. I profusely told him it was not necessary, as I had already added an almond croissant to have as a treat later.
Once the order arrived, I was just blown away! The brekky roll was hot and fresh, tastes amazing, and the potato gems were nice and crispy, Iced latte hit the spot! Great quality almond milk as well, normal milk doesn't agree with me sadly, Although I only ate a small bite, the almond croissant was warmed and delicious (saving the rest for later today),
And the big surprise...speechless. I had to taste it just to see what they gave me. It was pistachio cheesecake...my Sunday morning could not get any better than this. I had to leave it for later otherwise I would have looked like Violet in that one scene from Willy Wonka, but I cannot wait for tonight to have this for dessert!
Thanks guys for being awesome, your food and service are equally amazing, and you've definitely made my weekend with...
Read moreThis morning, a barista at this café single-handedly ruined the start of my day.
I ordered a takeaway coffee — a cappuccino — and there weren’t many customers at the time. I was the only one waiting for takeaway, standing right in front of the counter. I noticed that the slightly overweight female barista finished making another customer’s dine-in coffee (with latte art), and then began working on mine.
I didn’t rush her or say a word, but I could immediately sense a strange hostility and lack of patience from her. She aggressively poured the milk into my cup as if she were splashing it on purpose. Then she carelessly grabbed the cocoa powder and threw it over the foam — only about a third of it landed on the cup; the rest went all over the counter.
To top it all off, she didn’t even look at me, slammed the cup down on the counter, and coldly said, “Small cup,” with a face like I owed her something.
I didn’t say anything — just took the coffee and left — but the whole experience really threw me off. Maybe she was having a bad day, maybe she wasn’t feeling great, but that doesn’t give anyone the right to be rude or take it out on a customer.
There was zero respect or basic courtesy. I honestly don’t think I’ll return to this café, and I’ve already shared this experience on social media. I don’t believe I did anything wrong — I was polite and patient — and I don’t see why I should absorb someone else’s bad attitude.
I sincerely hope the management pays more attention to their staff’s emotional state and customer service standards. It makes all...
Read morerecently visited Wildflower Cafe, and it was an absolutely delightful experience that deserves a glowing 5-star review! From the moment I walked in, the cozy and welcoming atmosphere set the perfect tone for a relaxing meal. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home, which elevated the entire dining experience. The food was nothing short of yummy! Every dish we ordered was bursting with fresh, vibrant flavors, and you could tell the ingredients were high quality. The portion sizes were very generous, leaving us satisfied without feeling overly stuffed—a perfect balance. I tried a variety of dishes, from their hearty breakfast options to their creative sandwiches, and each one was beautifully presented and packed with taste. The menu had something for everyone, with plenty of vegetarian and vegan options that didn’t compromise on flavor. The highlight of my visit, though, was the Belgian chocolate mocha—hands down the best I’ve ever had! It was rich, velvety, and perfectly balanced, with just the right amount of sweetness and a deep chocolatey kick that made every sip pure bliss. It’s clear they put care into their coffee drinks, and this one...
