In this review: Coffee, Customer service, food, covid
Due to local restrictions, reviews are becoming extremely difficult due to changes in operation, however, this means a positive experience is hard to come by, and now more than ever, a good review, to find the places willing to go above and beyond, is all the more important
This McDonald's unfortunately is allowing lockdown to get the better of them, with poor customer service due to check ins being heavily checked, huge screens that block almost all sound, and no where to stand and wait without being in the way.
Once you wait a long time for the food or drink to arrive then you get to enjoy a drink or salad that leaves you wishing you had purchased something from the convenience shop next door.
The coffee was too hot and weak and my salad looked like it had been delivered by a motocross rider.
I didn't want to engage further, but I asked for another coffee, the only part of the whole process with a positive staff member, however the speed of said replacement caused me to run late
As SARS-CoV-2 is now apart of our lives... or so we are told, I have decided to rate covid restrictions, scanning and compliance the following (higher numbers equal higher difficulty but more legal compliance from the management, lower numbers mean walk in and buy as you would in
Read moreFrench fries are ALWAYS lukewarm soggy and rancid tasting. 5 out of 5 times they've had to be binned and now my 7 year old hates french fries due to the hatchet job coogee mcdonalds has done on them.
Today we just ate the worst cheeseburger ever. It was bitter and simply tasted like reconstituted onions?! They need to CLEAN THEIR OIL AND HOTPLATE!
Also, today was supposed to be their new improved burger with their new style of cooking. My big mac was cold and dry as is usual for coogee, but at least it wasnt bitter like my daughters cheeseburger. Seems coogee managed to even stuff up the new style of cooking that was supposed to ensure the burgers were HOT. Now she doesnt want mcdonalds anymore unless we get it from bondi junction.
This is great for my healthy preferences but coogee maccas need to be pulled into line to get up to speed with the food quality of the surrounding mcdonalds. They charge alot for their product yet deliver sub standard food. I thought this brand was all about consistency...this coogee lot need to be shut down and a HUNGRY JACKS put there instead.
I am in shock that other reviews are giving them great feedback. Maybe theyre used to dried out cold burgers and dont know any better? Or maybe they go after 8pm and not in the...
Read moreIf you're in Coogee and craving a classic Maccaâs feed, this location does the jobâbut donât expect anything too special. The convenience of being right near the beach is a big plus, making it a popular stop for both locals and tourists looking for a quick bite after a swim.
The food is generally what you'd expect from McDonald's: consistent, fast, and satisfying if you're after the usual burgers, fries, and nuggets. However, service can be hit or miss, especially during peak hours when it gets quite busy. Orders sometimes take longer than expected, and accuracy can be an issue.
Seating is limited, and given its prime location, it can be tough to find a clean table, especially on weekends. The atmosphere is pretty standard for a McDonald'sâfunctional but not particularly welcoming if you're looking to sit and relax for a while.
Overall, Coogee McDonald's is a convenient spot for a quick meal, but donât go in expecting anything beyond the usual fast-food experience. If youâre after something fresh and unique, there are plenty of great...
