I don’t usually leave reviews, but after the experience I had today, I genuinely felt it was important to share. I came into Macca’s feeling completely drained after a long, rough day — the kind where everything seems to go wrong. I was tired, stressed, and just needed a quiet moment to reset.
That’s when I was served by Xavier Tavano, and honestly, he turned everything around for me.
From the moment I walked up to the counter, Xavier greeted me with the warmest smile and a kind, genuine attitude. He didn’t rush through my order or treat me like just another customer — he actually took a moment to engage, showing a level of empathy and kindness that really stood out. It might sound small, but on a day like today, it meant everything.
Then came the coffee — and let me just say, Xavier made the best coffee I’ve had in a very long time. It was smooth, perfectly made, hot (but not burnt), and clearly crafted with care. You can tell when someone takes pride in what they do, and Xavier absolutely does.
The whole interaction might have only lasted a few minutes, but it genuinely turned my day around. It’s rare to come across someone so thoughtful, professional, and kind — especially in fast food. Macca’s is lucky to have him.
Thank you, Xavier. You didn’t just make my coffee — you made my day. I hope this message reaches you and that your kindness gets the recognition...
Read moreI ordered the Mc. Arch and the meat was raw, after returning it a staff member grabbed it threw it in the bin and walked off without saying anything to me. A few moments later they returned with a new burger but I had ordered it without pickles (due to allergies) so I told them this and he looked annoyed and walked behind into the kitchen and proceeded to take the pickles off the burger and then try again to give it to me, I told him I cannot eat it and would need a new burger made without ever having pickles put on it as the pickle juice that would still be in it could make me sick, at this point he seemed super annoyed and walked off. After waiting a few minutes another kid came out with a burger and at this stage I took it and walked out but I couldn't eat it anyway as I didnt trust them to have not tampered with the burger or spit in it or something. All this could've been avoided if they cooked the meat for 1 or if the staff member just stopped apologised for the uncooked meat and asked me if I wanted another burger to which I wouldve explained the no pickles from the start. Horrible experience I wont be returning...
Read moreAsked multiple times for all food fresh, got to the windows and was handed my food immediately, when I told the staff member that isn't my food as I had asked for fresh and for what I had ordered that should have taken atheist 4.5 mins -6 minutes.
The staff member started screaming at someone out the back and asking if my food was fresh, they said yes.
I again told her that a my chicken patty takes 3.5 minutes to cook and that couldn't be my order as it had only taken me 30 seconds to get to that windows from paying.
Nonetheless I told her its not mine she argued with me, and I told her idea be lodging a complaint.
Got home, guess what ???? The food wasn't fresh it was cold and soggy.
I called and spoke to the manager and advised him that I would be lodging a complaint to head office, but once again that will probably be swept under the rug like any other complaint you make to McDonald's.
If head office actually looks at this, i would be more than happy to do go in with an out of area ("area manager") and show them the kind of food you get served and the customer service...
