Workers are always rude if the older female manager isn't there. I asked for a receipt and the young girl said "we don't do receipts" in an extremely rude tone so I asked for her name and she replied with "no, I don't need to give you my name" I replied with "I only want your first name" she said "it's illegal for you to know it, move to the next window" I went to next window and asked manager and told the young guy about it and he said "she doesn't need to give a name and we don't usually give receipts here" I said I need one for work and he said "well you have to wait at least 7-10 minutes for them to try and get one" and still refused to give anyone's first name, so I said I'll wait for receipt. I told him I've never had THIS much trouble in all the years I've come here until that(older lady) manager isn't here. He just laughed and said "sorry mam but we don't really give receipts here, maybe go to another McDonald's if you need it for work". Absolutely gobsmacked that this McDonald's doesn't give receipts. I'm guessing during tax they're doing something, hence the no receipt thingš¤·āāļø in the end I waited so long and they never came out to give it and I was running late and couldn't obtain an invoice. Start giving receipts. Hopefully someone goes to the proper channels to show how they are not giving receipts to people at windows with excuses.
Edited and added to review 3rd of march nearly 6 months later and still doing the same thing with receipts. First window they neverhave machines for it working then second window they say it's a 10 minute wait "just park and we'll bring it to you...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI ordered this morning via the Maccas app, used my points for a hot chocolate for my son and a hashbrown. Upon getting to the pickup window the rude girl tells me there was no hot chocolate ordered, she then asked if I used the app and when I said yes she said the same issue happened to the car in front of me. She then walked away and left us sitting there. There was a line of cars behind me, I asked if they could make it and Iād put it through again as clearly thereās an issue with the app. She said she had no register there to process it, I said I used my points thereās no payment needed. She walked away swearing and carrying on that I could see and hear. She then sends the manager over, another rude staff member. She says the hot chocolate didnāt come through so we canāt make something thatās not there. Not willing to help in any way, I was on my way to work I was not lining up again. I asked for her name and head offices number, she refused to give her name and claims sheās the manager. Told me she doesnāt have to give those details, she said are you seriously going to complain because the order didnāt come through. My complaint isnāt about the order not coming through, itās about the service from management and the staff. Neither of you tried to help, just wanted to brush it off and swear about the situation. So yes youāve been reported in my complaint to head office as advised for your rude service, how you made it to management is beyond me. Looks like maccas...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI don't think I've ever had such an uncomfortable experience as I had at McDonalds this weekend. As the line for the double drive through was packed and taking a long time (evident as we witnessed people backing out) we decided to order in store. Huge mistake.
The McCafe girl was arguing with the Manager on duty about having to make burgers, and hissing at her like some kind of wild cat. The manager kept shouting at her to stop hissing. There was utter chaos everywhere - and it showed in our order.
Half of our order was wrong - missing things, and the fries were cold despite waiting for so long for them, and I had to take my burger back as it was missing onions. I then witnessed the McCafe girl (I only know she is this as she was complaining loudly about making burgers instead of coffee) violently shake so much onion onto the re-made cheeseburger that it was basically an onion burger and needed to be scraped off.
We then witnessed one of the staff angrily getting into her car and speeding off from the parking lot, which isn't just unsafe for her and patrons but also shows what a bad working environment it must be with people hissing and yelling.
All in all a terrible experience, and judging from other reviews not an uncommon one...
