McDonald's Norwest Marketown — Restaurant in Sydney

My daughter eats a fair bit of McDonalds, so I pick meals up two to three times per week from a variety of different stores, including this one. I can't fault the quality of the food as it is consistent with the standards set across the business, but this store has never in my experience provided efficient service. Generally, unless in peak times you can get drive-through like service times from within McDonalds restaurants, yet here I always seem to wait twice as long as at any other Maccas and tonight was no exception. There appears to be no prioritisation or rush to cycle people through the queues. For example, sometimes, like tonight (when my daughter's main order comes from Tex Mex), I buy only a drink and/or a soft serve cone. Most stores see such a purchase as a way to improve their delivery times and get almost straight to pouring the drink and/or soft serve, but I can't ever remember this happening here. In fact, it can be quicker to instead drive to the drive-through maccas near Bella Vista Farm, who have much more efficient service. I am convinced I would have been home more than five minutes earlier tonight with a warmer serving of Tex Mex had...

Their EFTPOS machine is down today, and not suddenly, they knew it would be down yesterday. Instead of putting a sign or anything resembling a responsible action. They are attempting to ring up all EFTPOS clients on the kiosk, I attempted to order... but when I asked where the no meat option was the girl instead of telling me insisted on ringing it up herself at the kiosk... deleting my order and starting again.... she then rang it up incorrectly and I had to go through and re edit what she rung up.... all for the machine to eventually freeze ruining the whole order.... this took over 15 minutes and the order still wasn't even rung in.... I ended up going back to work hungry because they wasted every spare noment of my lunchbreak.... will never go to...

Had to go the bank so I decided to grab a coffee and breakfast for my wife and 2 cheeseburgers , fries and a thick shake. I took one bite of the cheeseburger and it tasted like whoever made it put half a ton of salt on it , it was disgusting and non edible. That went straight in the rubbish. Tasted the second one and it was probably worse. I'm talking truely disgusting. The blonde haired male cook could not of done this accidently. I wouldn't go there for food because you never know if someone will tamper with your food on purpose. I had not reached the motorway I would have gone back. Head to the Maccas not at the shopping centre. This is 100% the experience I had today 22/08/2025 at around 11am. Give this place...
