After many years away from McDonald, my husband and I have recently started visiting for the odd create burger. This evening we did so and I ordered on the touch screen, requesting dine-in and my husband ordered his burger at the counter and paid. e were approached by a young woman who plonked down a bagged order . When I remarked this was not what I ordered, I was advised that this was what was on her device and this was what I to get. I remarked that I was not demented and that I was aware of what I had ordered. She walked off and after unpacking the box, where the burger looked as appetising as sawdust, I took the burger back to the counter and stated this was not what I had ordered and I was not accepting the order. Staff took the burger and advised it would be replaced. When re-seated, I was approached by a young man who accused me of swearing at his 16 year old staff member and proceeded to lecture about the fact that I was wrong and he was right about the manner the order was to be served. He challenged my version of events to the point where I demanded a refund and left the restaurant. I will not be back and certainly do not appreciated being virtually called a liar. I checked with my husband who was present throughout whether or not I had sworn and he confirms I did not do this.
These guys have got to be joking - bad food, bad service and...
Read moreMcDonald’s Richmond you honestly need to get your act together. In the past 6-12months and longer. You get just about every orders wrong, simple orders cold meals cold coffees, missing items, ice cream hardly half full. My Menulog orders arrived cold again tonight. But it’s not the first time. Drive through online and in store you seem to muck it up. You offer credits but don’t honour as you do not write them down. This store has declined massively in the past 24th months. It’s about time the Hawkesbury got another McDonald’s to use. You constantly rush your customers and all your orders, you leave customers in waiting bays for 26mins for orders forgetting they are even there! For a burger Big Mac I don’t like to leave these reviews but you have seriously dropped the ball. Coffee orders you make us drive through 2-3 times due to coffee vouchers. Head office McDonald’s read this, sort this store out the training and stop leaving the juniors to fulfil the stores orders without role model adults. Richmond’ store caters for a huge amount of residents due to its location. While I’m a kind sympathetic person this is not becoming a disgraceful place to use. Head office stand up set an example and figure the mistakes here and build another store between north Richmond or Agnes Banks so we do not have to tolerate this ongoing waste of...

Accosted by a kid in McDonalds uniform. barely a step inside the door, demanding my order. (Can I find out what is on the menu these days? I don't eat this stuff regularly).
When ordering at the counter, the girl simply could not understand that "a small meal" means "I'll have the burger, small chips and a small drink".
Now, I may be hard of hearing, but that doesn't mean she has to say 3 times "you can't have it in a meal".
After getting so blunt I was almost acidic with her, I put my order differently. And asked "can I order a small coke?" 'Yes' "Can I order a small fries?" 'Yes' "Can I order a chicken & cheese burger?" 'Yes'. "Ok. So how is that not a small meal?" 'IT JUST ISN'T. YOU CAN'T GET IT IN A SMALL MEAL!!' Right. Hubby orders a quarter pounder.
$19.30 later, we are sitting on chairs that do not move, choking down cold, tasteless burgers tougher than old boot leather and soggy cardboard chips. Washed down with a flat drink tasting of gas.
I was actual trying very hard not to vomit on my way out the doors.
When did McDonalds become so hideously expensive for such horrendous food?
I'll stick to Subway or independent cafes for food on the...
