Melonhead — Restaurant in Sydney

Wow, this place is another level! I have been to a lot of juice shops in my lifetime, and can I say I’ve never had a juice so fresh that tasted like they had just picked the fruit off the tree until I came to melon head!

This place is another level of freshness and taste! I ordered a juice called The Brontë (minus the ginger as I like my juices without ginger) and it was the best juice I’ve ever had. It was so amazing. I came back two hours later for another one. You can’t beat these guys they are experts in their industry. I also ordered fresh pineapple and shared it with my friends, they were all in amazement as to how tasty and delicious the pineapple was especially as these days, fresh fruit is hit and miss at most places.

The owner is amazing, he’s really created a fabulous place to visit at such an iconic destination. This place is a must when visiting Coogee, such variety and taste, definitely give it ago next time...

Cracked tooth from the seed still in the Olive in my Greek salad. Worst Greek salad ever.... Contained Dill which very over powering! Celery??? To much spring onion. And no dressing, yet it was offered to me but not given. The large cubed tomatoes and cucumber were awkward to slice with the plastic knife provided. Tuna pasta on the other hand was delicious with sundried tomatoes. Fresh juices are great, yet can taste of ingredients you didn't order. Staff often ask if I'd like ice. To which I refuse. If they don't ask, I assume they won't fill my cup with it. But they do. So specify if you don't want ice! Keep your eye out for some market specials. So many great juices! the variety of juices on the menu is great! if your not sure on what to choose you can make you own mixing as many fruit and vegies into your juice as you like! always have tubs of cut up watermelon and various other fruits. if you have a sweet tooth definatly grab the chocolate covered strawberries!!!
