This used to be my favourite banh mi shop in Bankstown until my encounter with one of the rudest and grumpiest shop assistant I've ever met. I went there on Friday 8th Nov 2024 at 12.30pm to order my pork roll. The woman with short hair, wearing glasses that served me will roll her eyes and show her displeasure whenever I asked for basic things like having the rolls cut in half, no chillies on the bread and etc. Even though there was no one around except me, the woman will make these simple requests like its a major inconvenience to her and tell you off for it. She proceeded to lecture me 'the customer' that you need to tell her all your requests in one breath. Wow the audacity. To the business owners of the store, you're not doing yourself any favours by enabling this shop assistant's terrible attitude towards customers. I am no longer curious as to why there are no customers around during the busiest time of the day (lunch). There use to be a few lovely ladies working there that I don't see there anymore. I certainly won't be back after...
Read moreRoast Pork Roll Filling Amount: 4/5 Bread: Bread roll was crusty and flakey, but definitely not a âmouth shredderâ. Price: $5 regular, $7 for crispy roast pork (pictured today with extra crackling, 50c) Taste: 4/5 Overall Rating: 4/5
Pate, mayo, carrot, daikon, cucumber, coriander and shallot oil. Roast pork roll came with generous helping of tender and juicy roast pork belly. Plenty of mayo and pate too. 50c for extra crackling was worth it. The additional crackling was very crunchy, more so than the crackling that was already on the roasted pork. The carrot did not taste like it had been pickled. The use of âMụ HĂ nhâ shallot oil is a unique touch that adds some extra Vietnamese flavour to the roll. This shop also sells Vietnamese âPate Chaudâ pastry, something Iâll have to come back and...

Original with chilli ordered - I never stray with trying these strange, mish mash combo Bahn Miâs... they really arenât authentic to what began as the humble pork roll in Vietnam.
Size and price wise. Great value!! Super big and crunchy rolls, excellent fresh ingredients with enough chilli to give a good taste and burn yet not overpowering, Taste is superior to other ones tasted.. flavour bomb in mouth... Well worth the travel!
Will always stop past whenever Iâm in Bankstown. Never disappointed... Keep up the great...
