On 20/12/23 at 7:44 pm, my family and I arrived at Kickin'Inn restaurant. Despite our intention to dine without becoming members at the club, the security guard insisted forcefully on membership, If he explained with respect I would have understood why the membership was important. The security guards aggressive behavior in front of my kids made my kids feel unsafe, completely contrary to the main purpose of security, making me nervous and anxious. I felt he was going to hit me, while he screamed at me close up, demanding i sign up creating a very uncomfortable atmosphere for my kids who felt sad, scared and hurt to watch their mother being treated that way. We came as a happy family, and he disrupted that atmosphere with his behavior. Taking that happiness from us with his aggression. The guard's confrontational stance, arms crossed and ready for a fight, reflected unprofessionalism along with semi sitting on the reception desk when we arrived to when we left was sloppy and unprofessional. The caucasian, male receptionist who signed me up appeared annoyed and disturbed by our family coming in, was in a rush and had somewhere else to be, he wasnt at the desk and had to be called to sign me up, further providing unhelpful and sarcastic responses about parking. His dismissive attitude and laughter when I inquired about parking costs were unnecessary, rude and unprofessional. Due to the experience and limited menu options, we chose to dine elsewhere. Im saddened that negative experiences are tolerated in family-oriented places. Disrespectful behavior diminishes the desire for patrons to spend their money in establishments lacking respect and manners. It's disheartening that individuals who don't value positive experiences for families are hired in such places. I understand not everyone enjoys to work but patron's work hard to be able to come here to spend what we have earned working hard. As a family we finally had time to go out together, getting treated this way isn't right. Extremely...
Read more3 years ago Prawn and crabs leggs are getting better ate till I almost died always exceptional value for money. I bought a dozen oysters hope everyone does the same keep a great venue open.
These Star Buffet much improved can't beat it for value only buffet only seafood buffet on Christmas under $80 with unlimited lobster.
Today: They have a band downstairs and Districts Saigon is the only place I know that I can steak meal for under 25 bucks. With the upgrades to Bankstown is very classy looking place for budget family dining I know I like it.
Though 2 lobsters really enought thats my max and with dessert plate of course (I have learnt its better 2.5 plates I can't do what I use to as a kid its always been a case of the eyes is more hungry then the stomach) if I come more often and eat less it's more enjoyable experience (better for them better for me anything more is asking for trouble (you don't want turn green from over eating at buffet which is easy to do at buffets) and they change up the menu slightly so you wouldn't get bored and so affordable as often as you want. It doesn't have to be an occasion.
And thanks Star Buffets for an awsome birthday and $25 for 25 year membership (super great value) walk in with no trouble thats the bomb. I am subscribed for life assuming standards are consistent in standards. Compliments to the chef and team!
If they could use some feedback Hire more staff at Christmas and star earlier could do more lunches even dinners if you ask me - around Christmas the line goes around the block and gets a little crazy if you don’t come early with a party of 10 but take it from a enterprise developer being too busy is a good problem to have now especially when restaurants are...
Read moreOne of the worst customer-service I have ever met in NSW. The welcoming lady was very rude, arrogant and very unprofessional. The way she greeted customers were as if we have never been to a club before. Gave her my other RSL membership card, yet she asked for another ID. While holding our IDs, she started serving another customer while keeping my ID in her hands. Is that a customer service? The way she works is everywhere.... haven't finished with one customer, she served another. What the hell? When we were dining at Kasa, another young Asian couple just got seated and started ordering their meal. Suddenly, another front office lady (different from the first one) came and spoke to them loudly in a demanding order to do something before sitting at the restaurant. I watched and I felt so bad for the young couple as if they just commit a crime and being loudly instructed by that woman. Unbelievable! To Bankstown RSL management, I don't know how you choose your staff, but they are both so arrogant, disorganised and very rude to your customers. They are not worth to be your front-liner. I worked in customer service, and I found this is so unacceptable. Get someone who genuinely wants to work and let her sorts her issues at home. I guess why your RSL is so quiet, that is because of these kinds of people you employed. Did a survey, and you will know. Or, just come down to the front office and observe how your staff do their jobs, then you will know. This all happened around lunch time on...
