Nando's Wetherill Park — Restaurant in Sydney

I came in with my family member expecting to sit down for a simple meal, but from the moment we walked in it was already disappointing. Not a single staff member offered to help us, and nearly every table we looked at was dirty, sticky, or covered in leftover food. It honestly looked like the place hadn’t been cleaned properly all day. When I went up to ask the lady working if she could please clean a table for us, all she said was “wait one second.” I stood there waiting, and what should have taken her a moment ended up taking over five minutes. All the while, most of the tables around us were still disgusting, and it’s not like the restaurant was busy — there was no excuse for that kind of laziness.

When we finally got our food, it somehow managed to make things worse. The chicken pieces were embarrassingly small, like scraps thrown together, and the food was barely warm, bordering on cold. The salad was even worse — the lettuce was wilted, slimy, and honestly looked like it came straight out of the bottom of a fridge that hadn’t been cleaned in weeks. It was inedible.

On top of that, we had to ask for cutlery, which should be the bare minimum in any dining experience. Instead of bringing it over or at least showing some effort, the same lady just pointed across the room and said, “over there.” I couldn’t believe it. I had to get up, move out of my seat, and go grab it myself, even though she had literally just walked past the cutlery station. It was pure laziness and total lack of care for customers.

To make matters worse, while all of this was going on, I noticed staff standing around and doing nothing while dirty tables stayed dirty. It was like they just didn’t care at all about the customers sitting there trying to eat in a filthy environment. It wasn’t just a bad meal — it was a completely disgusting and frustrating experience from start to finish.

I left feeling not only unsatisfied but also shocked at how a place could serve such poor-quality food with such rude, careless service. Absolutely unacceptable. I will never be coming back, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone, especially if you care about hygiene, respect, or even just...

If I could put no stars.. I would. Sarah was the rudest staff member I have ever come across in my many years of living and trying new restaurants. First of all, as we were ordering, we saw her munching on chips at the back from customers food who were waiting for their takeaway order. Secondly, we arrived at the restaurant at 9pm, in which they closed at 10pm. We immediately ordered and settled down, leaving us waiting about 45 minutes for an $80 order. We did not once complain about the wait even though we were starving as the lady who served us at the register was kind. However, once it hit 9:45, before we got our food, Sarah came up to us and so rudely warned us that she would be kicking us out at 10pm on the dot. While we were eating, impatiently reminded us and warned us around 20 times that she would be kicking us out. My friend is also a vegetarian and she ordered a meal with no chicken in it, however they added chicken. When we told sarah she rudely asked “what do you want me to do about it”. We told her to make a new wrap and she said “okay i’m going to wrap it to go and eat it as takeaway outside, you have to leave”. She was very rude and impatient throughout this whole interaction and she needs some serious help. Someone that miserable and unhappy with life should not be serving...

18/10, last night we went there at 7:45 and sat down on a table, this waitress came running n said “u cant seat here, this area is closed’ with a very disgusting attitude! turns out at 7:45 she has flipped half the chairs on the tables and trynna sweep n all, forcing all the people to sit only on side of the restaurant when its busy dinner time. Like what for bro ? Its 7:45 pm ! Even the people around us was so annoyed cause of her behaviour and she was so annoying like bro just let me sit n eat food bro and stop being a gronk. Anyways afterwards when she brought the food on our table, she had the food tray in her hand and the drink bottles by her armpits ???? R u serious? The bottles were smelling like her sweaty armpits ! Is this how u serve food ? In my entire lifetime Never had a waitress bring me drinks holding by her armpits yuck !
