Apart from the tofu that did not have a very pleasant flavour, our two mains were very good. The heaven duck was really tasty and so to was the yellow curry that comes with chicken only. Neither of these dishes were very spicy so should suite people who don't eat spicy food. One problem with the restaurant is that it is cash only and like most people who don't carry a lot of money, we didn't have enough to buy any desserts, so ended up getting desserts elsewhere.

I used to go there quite often and I was never disappointed but lately the quality got worse. The soft shell crab was extremely spicy, very difficult to eat for me that I usually like spicy dishes. The chicken and shrimps noodles instead were ok but a bit watery and with not enough meat and veggies but just lots of noodles. Considering what you will pay for a dish here, I don’t think I will be back.

Lovely service, great spring rolls and absolutely delicious duck (still fabulous the next day, will recommend). Not a fan of their coconut rice or green curry. Will stick to jasmine rice next time. Parking tip: Lots of residential street parking minutes away.

Ordered red curry with rice and spring rolls. I am not a fussy eater but this food was bad - the vegetables in the curry were undoubtedly rotten and the rice was hard, like uncooked pasta . The spring rolls tasted a few days old. When I called up to complain and request a refund I was basically told I was lying as they hadnt had any other complaints about the food that day. I was refused a refund, the manager kept repeating: "we do not cook bad food."

So I went into the restaurant with the food and I was met with just as much refusal and denial. It was only when the manager didn't want the other customers overhearing my complaints, that she begrudgingly gave me back my money - and not all of it of course.

At the end of the day it's not about the money . And even the bad food can be overlooked if the staff respected my right to ask for a refund and were polite and apologetic . But on top of the terrible food, I was met with the worst possible customer service I have ever experienced in my life . Downright rude.

I have never written a restaurant review before, but this angered me enough to want to warn other customers. Think twice before ordering here. There are far better Thai restaurants around, give this place a miss!! The one star given was only because it was the lowest option! I give this place...

This is my third visit to Ninety-Nine Thai, and I will return again and again.

As per previous visits, pretty good Thai

The restaurant really ticks all the boxes – offering a nice and comfortable dining area with a great selection of dishes that are both delicious and affordable.

Licensed and BYO (Wine prices very reasonable) The opportunity to customise serving sizes, accommodating the number of diners was appreciated. The staff have always been friendly every time I have been here, making the experience even more pleasant.

ENTREES Curry Puffs were a light and crispy (not oily) @ $2.50 per piece Chicken Wings at were flavourful. @ $3.50 per piece The Herbal Duck wrapped in a lettuce leaf was outstanding @ $7.00 per piece

MAINS Heaven Duck @ $27.90 truly lived up to its name. Mussamun Curry with chunky tender beef @ $25.90 was a satisfying main dish. (tender & very tasty)

With a group of five, we enjoyed the above feast that included everything from appetizers to main courses, all for just $30 per head, corkage and tip included. What a steal.

Note: GET THERE EARLY Trading hours: Tuesday to Sunday 5pm – 9pm BYO or Licensed They do accept credit cards 10%...

My favourite Thai in Bondi and Sydney. I’ve been going here for years and the teams never let me down. The food is absolutely delicious and fresh and tasty and with the chefs pork recommendations my favourite and yellow curry yum topped with a side of coconut rice you literally can’t go wrong. It’s BYO and is great for date night or a special occasion with a group. I think eating in is a better experience as the staff present the food beautifully on big plates etc and the ambience is really nice. My only negative would be unfortunately the last few times I’ve eaten here the take away drivers like Uber eats etc literally come in and out non stop with their motorbike helmets on crashing past you on their way through to pick up their orders which can be a little distracting. They should probably just wait out the front. But on the flip side I’m glad...
