3 Steps Cafe. — Restaurant in Sydney

I've seldom visited 3-steps Cafe over the years, usually at late hours with drunk or stoned friends who don't have the patience for a walk to Campbell Parade. While 3-steps has a charming, albeit dated interior, their biggest selling point is convenience: 5am-Midnight, monday-sunday - right outside the bus stops. But frankly, that is their only selling point.

Just before closing, as one of the last customers, I recently bought a kebab combo and a bacon\egg roll. The kebab was generously filled, but tasted bad for a meal that's consistently good across Sydney. It just lacked the flavour or quality you'd find in the City. The Bacon\Egg roll was cheap, but barely edible and went unfinished. The chips were so soggy putting chicken salt on them was futile. The staff also cooked our food at a leisurely rate, perhaps due to it being after 11pm, but for such simple food it took way too long. Reasonably priced, but definitely not worth...

These guys are great, and i mean it. Everything from the coffee to the dinner time chicken burger is always great, one time i was 4 dollars short and they said dont worry about it, i was so great full i went down to the ATM and got money out because that was jyst to kind of them. Always fresh ingredients and always just a 2-5 min wait for your order too! And i have to say everyone is so easy going and friendly "good morning brother, one or two burgers today" they know me and everyone so well i concuder these men friends! Three Steps is a staple of Bondi, a beautiful place with beautiful people and beautiful food. All of the staff are so friendly and make you feel so valued remembering your order, they are people you can always have a chat and a good laugh with when you're severely hungover and need a big brekkie 😂 Even on Uber eats, efficient and as delicious as if you went in person. The food is gorgeous and filling and I have never been disappointed with it. 3 Steps does and will forever hold a special place in my heart.
