Oli's Cafe — Restaurant in Sydney

This morning I was treated to a fathers day breakfast by my wife and kids, however the experience at Oli's wasn't very good at all. The place was over crowded and we were seated outside of the undercover area in one of the 'Emergency tables' brought in to take advantage of the extra income on fathers' day. This wouldn't have been so bad, but the weather decided to turn and rained hard which in turn rained directly on to us and ruined all of the food and wet the four of us. All the staff could say is and quote, 'looks like you are having a good fathers day there dad' and, 'we were hoping it wouldn't rain'. After about 5 minutes of standing up, we were then moved to a single table (for a family of 4) and blocking off the toilet door. Not exactly where you want to be sitting while eating either. At this point we decided to leave, and as I mentioned my complaint to the waitress taking the payments, she just replied ' we were trying, sorry' and proceeded to charge me full price plus 10% surcharge. This food was already overpriced to begin with. My wife and kids didn't manage to finish their meals either so this was an extra kick in the teeth.

1st and last time I spend money there.......I would have much preferred a bacon sandwich at home. at least I would have stayed dry and...

Kids friendly set up with all sort of lollies in front of the counter and playground at the back but not so kids friendly. Staffs were not helpful also.

We went in and my daughter was distracted with the lollies close to the counter (as most kids will, thats why they put it out there). She took it, accidentally drop it and lollies came out from the wrapper on the floor. I apologised to the staff and she just said “that’s okay, is that all for today?” and i paid for the lollies, which is a bit dissapointing as it was an accident and we were going to dine in there.

The staff showed us our seating but it was a bit squeezy for 3 of us. My husband asked for other seating but it was reserved and she only offered other seating under the sun. I was looking forward to dine in ended up went home as the seating wasn’t suitable for us……with a dirty lollies. Not...

I've had a wonderful experience today at Oli's Cafe Miranda, the team were fantastic and the automation of service was amazing, everything was at high standard including the small details such as the resources used and the ceramics used to make coffee in, the food was delicious, I had the breakfast tacos - a very unique breakfast that I enjoyed! It was nice to try something different, it has all the facilities for families to come have a wonderful time too! Also the staff had all the time in the world for me and came over to chat, it was an enjoyable experience, Thank you for having me Oli's Cafe, can't wait to see...
