This place used to be great. Firstly, I went through the drive-through and said my order twice. Then I was asked to wait... i decided to park and go in as it was difficult for the person on the other end to hear me & communicate.. Maybe it was a bad day for them.. I don't know. 3 people working 2 cooking 1 serving.. it took her a good 10 minutes to look up and notice that the only customer in the store is waiting at the register.. I patiently waited for her at the register. 1 customer service used to be better. I had to pack my own drinks and ask for another bag, which should have been done and organised by staff prior to giving me my order. My sauces and drinks for family were on the bench near the register. The man finally gave me my order at another bench, then i had to walk awkwardly around a customer who just walked in, and I was told, "Have a nice day. ".. I had to say to the man, "Excuse me.", while packing 5 drinks, a glass sauce jarnontop of the food the ordered all into a paper bag . I then asked her for another bag as I knew the bag was going to rip. Why didn't the person serving have the common sense to do this already? I don't know.. I was watching the staff and couldn't believe how much everyone was taking their time. Also, the tables were dirty. Being clean is what brings customers in and saying hello to your customers. I hope you can take this as some knowledge to do better. As Oporto's Padstow used to be great. The food was not the best, and please work on changing the oil when frying chicken strips. Read moreWith the $15 for whole chicken and large chips it was quite busy tonight. I did have to wait a bit for my food which was understandable as cooking a whole chicken takes time and there was a jam packed drive thru and also many walk ins. I believe it was the manager that gave me a complimentary churros to make up for the time that I waited which was very kind of him to do that. As for the previous woman that wrote a review right before mine, they didn’t even get their food they walked out after getting their refund. So she’s lying when she says they forgot her churros and preggo jar and had skinless chicken or how they forgot items because her and her boyfriend both did not walk out with any food and were issued a slip of paper which I’m assuming would be their refund in one way or another. She also said in her review she waited 30 mins but in person she said they were waiting an hour - make up your mind my gosh clearly just trying to make the staff feel bad when they can’t control how long it takes to cook a chicken. You can probably only cook so many at a time and with a promo like this it’s hard to keep up. 30 mins is nothing to wait when they’re extremely busy because of a promo. Read moreMy case number is 45-80614 on their feedback form. I ordered and paid 24 hours beforehand. I was blamed for not ringing and checking my order will be on time. Was blamed my order was large. Manager also blamed their system only notifies them 10 minutes before an online order is due. They said my order would take another hour but after I said I wanted to speak to the head manager about this it took only 20 minutes to complete my order. They also complained they had trouble with their chickens that day.
As a first time customer their email response lacked sincerity and integrity and blamed everyone else including me for the issue. Very poor operational system & directing blame to the customer & their operational system.
Its now been 2 weeks since they said a manager would contact me over this review.... No Contact yet... This store is not reliable when it comes to catering for large numbers...Would not trust them again... Be aware You will see the managers response and he has still not contacted me after 1 month and now getting onto 2 months (it's now 30 May 2023)...I've told all my corporate contacts to not deal...
