The food is delicious.

Depending on the occasion, if you come in the evening, you may not be able to get a seat but can only buy and take away.

Our family usually chooses the only menu which is serving number 15 per person.

Prices have gone up, averaging $2 per year for the dish.  The same serving of number 15 was about $17.99 about 5 years ago.  Currently June 2023 is $ 26.99.

In previous years, you will get free boxes of leftovers, free tea.  This gradually translates to only free for the first cup of tea, after which you need to pay for the 2nd cup onwards.

Now the take away box and tea will be charged.  Prices are updated on the restaurant's website.

Also, they have a new restaurant owner, possibly the next generation of heirs because the food is still very good.

The moment they transferred the manager/cook I felt the food was a little different.  Maybe it's because I wasn't used to seeing the beautiful landlady there anymore.

As of now for the last meal, everything seems to be great again.

Good luck with the shop.

Although we are only customers who eat here a few times a year .  We are still very grateful for the delicious feeling that your...

Parked at Kmart Blacktown where you will find plenty of free parking. It's a 5mins walk to the resturant.

Went on a weekday with only 3 tables occupied and had to wait for 20 mins to order food as there was only one person attending guests. While people who wanted take away were served immediately. The order process need improvement. So far was not impressed.

After placing our order in about 15mins or less fresh salad and yougurt was served and that got our mood going a bit. We ordered #5 on the menu kebabs with qabuli rice and bread with 1.25L soft drink. And then the platter arrived 🤯. Was absolutely mind blowing! The quantity for a $66 platter was generous and the food was scrumptious. I have had tried Kabul House in Marryland before but this was better. I thought that butter served on rice would have given a nicer experience. Since Afghani food is not spicy, kids also enjoyed with us and we had a lovely experience overall. Tea is free which is not bad however there were no desserts 🤦. Guys you need to put some dessert options for people like myself please!

Anyway here is my rating

Service 5/10 (needs major improvement) Food 9/10 Value...

Unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. While we were on our way to the restaurant, my wife called to place our order. The customer service representative who answered the phone was extremely rude. We changed our order twice during the call, simply because we changed our minds, which is perfectly reasonable. However, the staff member responded unprofessionally, saying things like, “What language do you speak? English? Are you sure?” and “Can you please order when you come to the restaurant?”

She also repeatedly misunderstood what we were saying, but instead of clarifying politely, she chose to be sarcastic and unkind. My mother-in-law and father-in-law were with us, and we all felt quite disappointed by the behavior.

Although the food itself was good, the experience was overshadowed by the staff’s attitude. It’s hard to enjoy a meal when you’ve been...

My favourite afghan restaurant. Food are very delicious with variety of kebab and traditional afghan/iranian dishes. Meat quality is awesome, very fresh, juicy and well marinated. Portions are more than enough for a super hungry male Additionally, the lady owner is very nice, friendly and helpful. Other staffs are friendly as well But please fix the main door specially or change it to automatic sliding door to avoid cold breeze make costumers uncomfortable specially in winter time. Thanks
