Ordered the chicken roll combo meal with a side of tabouli and garlic sauce plate, it took about 10 minutes for the meal to come to the table. However i think I was one of the first customers in the morning, so i tink everything was still starting up. However the food did not disappoint at all; even with the delay with food the wait was definitely worth it. The best thing about El Jannah is the consistency within all the restaurants regardless of location. Consistency in the quality, quantity and presentation of the food was impeccable. I would recommend people to actually ask for the fresh chicken in the roll which does cost extra, but in my honest opinion is the better option. The tabouli is a bit sour but I do prefer it this way and hence why i have given it 5 stars. The place is airconditioned in the summer and also accept card/EFTPOS which not all locations have. Parking is a bit of a nuisance; however it is recommended to have a walk after eating as the food is to die for. The image is old; however the food is exactly the same; no surprises whatsoever

I grew up on EL Jannah chicken in Granville and I must say sadly that Blacktown one does not live up to the taste/flavour of the original one. I say that, but it still is great charcoal chicken. The chicken has also improved overtime. It used to be burnt-ish and dry. Today, it was juicy and tender. Occasionally we order the Shawarma meal. The marrinated shredded beef was a little overcooked today. Dips are always yummy. Pickles are very salty but okay when I put in a roll with the chicken and garlic sauce). The garlic sauce, I thought, is what made El Jannah Granville special too. Garlic sauce at Blacktown is GREAT. I am always there especially with my family. The prices are reasonable and we always get a seat as it is spacious/has expanded. You can always park at Westpoint and surrounding areas.

I've been eating at El Jannah for the past 7 years, and this is my first review — long overdue because I’ve never been disappointed, not even once! Every single bite over the years has been full of flavour and satisfaction. Their charcoal chicken is legendary, perfectly grilled with that smoky goodness. But the real hidden gem? The fried chicken — absolutely next level! Crispy, juicy, and full of flavour. Once you try it, you’ll never want fried chicken from anywhere else. It's that good. My go-to order: ✅ Chicken roll ✅ Grilled charcoal chicken ✅ Garlic dip ✅ Chilli dip (must try!) ✅ Fried chicken (unmissable!) (Their gravy is amazing) El Jannah is simply unbeatable. Highly recommended!

Sadly, I have to give 1 X Star as there was no "Take a Star Away" option! Used to be our favorite place; did not mind travelling from Baulkham Hills to get the yummy charcoal chicken meal which cheered the whole family. We had many issues in the past too but we always thought about the store being busy, food so great, so we did not think about it much. OBVIOUSLY WRONG! Around 1:30 PM, on an early Saturday afternoon, could not find a parking spot so dropped my 16 year old son in front of the restaurant and decided to drive around until he came out. 2 rounds which took only 15 minutes or so - means the shop was not that busy at the time - my son came out with 4 plastic bags and a huge box which was steaming. Big smiles on our faces, we left for another 15 mins drive home. On our way home, my son said he asked for all breast when he was refused by a staff member responded "it did not work that way, he was getting 2 x full chickens as everyone else". I was kind of surprised and decided to wait till I got home. When we arrived home, opened the box and the bags, have realized there were 2 X chickens but not all breast. My kid was right, the staff member failed to give him all breasts which I did not mind paying an extra $2 for (every time I bought a meal deal, I have asked for all breast only and paid extra $2)! Although my kid ordered 2 X Chicken meal deals, he had received 1 X container of garlic sauce (regular size) and 1 x container of green pickles (regular size), so basically, the staff member decided to save there as well! And finally, both rolls my son asked for were full of hot chips and green pickles where the meat was missing or hard to see & taste! Looked like the whole staff members on shift today were asked to save on chicken but waste the customers! All the way to Blacktown for a delicious charcoal chicken dream was turned into a waste of time, drive and effort! Now, I want to ask a question to the relevant El Jannah owner, manager, whoever is running the business: "Did this happen only because I have sent my kid to the store? Wasn't he old enough to be taken serious? You have taken my money, which was serious enough but failed offering assistance and providing the product we paid for. I will not discuss over a container of garlic sauce or pickles or the amount of chicken you have NOT added to the rolls but will let you know one thing: There are multiple charcoal places in the Hills area which are not family owned or not owned by people from a certain region who can do this as good as you guys however their service and respect for the customers makes us go and buy from them even though the taste is far away from yours! Now, if you want to make things better, sit down and think about where you have failed, where you should improve! You make big bucks but not...

Earlier this evening I experienced the WORST customer service of my entire life! My partner and I came in for an early dinner around 5:15pm, we were served by a girl with long black hair in a pony tail wearing big hoop earrings, makeup and looked to be maybe of middle eastern/European background. My partner and I ordered payed and sat down with our order number as usual, eventually his food came out and only half of mine did I continued to wait awhile then still nothing so I politely called one of the ladies bringing out the food over to our table to show her our receipt to show her what was missing, she took our receipt to go ask what was happening; a few moment later the girl who served us charges into the dining area and starts giving me major attitude and trying to tell me “you didn’t order such and such you ordered this” (pretty sure I know what I asked for!?) after going back and forth with her she stormed back out and as she turned the corner she STUCK HER MIDDLE FINGER UP AT ME! Yes she actually flipped me the bird! (Check your outside cameras) In the end I had two more managers come to me to which I had to re explain what happened (the last male manager was lovely) but refused to give me her first name. Anyway I am still in disbelief and am absolutely disgusted. Even after being an el jannah customer since before I can remember myself and family will never...

Unfortunately not as consistently good as penrith store. Quite often the people serving on counter are a little absent/oblivious, like she doesn't want to be there not a bad attitude just not present/ doesn't always listen to order properly etc . Quite often ive asked for a full bag of bread and i keep getting a bag with 2 slices ... so now im a little over having to be super clear i want a FULL bag not 2 slices !! Its the small things they fail on here though like today is first time in the years ive bought el janah that the bread is really stale ... i get a full bag as its usually nicer than any other place ive found so it goes in fridge and is good for a few days .. but i get the feeling this is already last weeks bread ... still ate my lunch but stale bread kind of killed the enjoyment of making a nice wrap out of it... chicken is always good chips too pity about the service . Update weeks later .. So after about 6 weeks i finally went back last week food was good service was good . Went back again today and service was good BUT again the bread is stale ... guessing they didnt get fresh after the long weekend ? Soggy old chips too normally the chips are the best part.. and even the chicken very close to not cooked enough .... will not be going back again . The stale bread...
