The food was genuinely nice and it came out pretty quick. But I was very disappointed when I had to wait for the charcoal to arrive for 30-40 minutes. I checked with a certain waitress for twice with the charcoal for BBQ, and she didn’t even apologise for the late, instead she gave me a lecture with the attitude, explaining that they had to provide three charcoal for big table down the end and the charcoal preparation is delayed because of that. Then she asked, “make sense?” What an attitude and poor choice of words. It’s not like I don’t understand how busy they are. Still, there was no apology from her and she didn’t even check up with my table. Another 5 minutes passed, the other waitress checked on me and she went to straight to talk to the guy who is in charge of preparing charcoal for the customers. Then, finally, the charcoal came on my table in a second and she actually said thank you for the wait. I was pleased with that waitress, but the other waitress I spoke to before her? I am very crossed with her. For that, I am not going back to the restaurant again. They really need to work on the customer service with their waitress/waiter. If you want to have a nice Korean food close to the local area at Blacktown, I guess you can go there. But I was really disappointed and felt I wasted my money...
Read moreMy friends and I wanted to check this Korean place out. It’s nice to see a Korean restaurant in the West as opposed to going to the Sydney CBD or to Strathfield. We were pleasantly surprised about how busy they were and glad we booked a table ahead. The food was great, and fast. The wait staff were attentive to our requests for refill of the different banchans. We especially liked the fish cake strips, mashed potato, however I’ve had better kimchi and we were all sad that try didn’t have daikon pickle. Stand outs had to be the sweet potato noodles (Japchae), Kimchi Pancake, and the Spicy Chicken with cheese ( I could have had more chicken in this dish and more cheese). The Cheesy corn isn’t worth $10 when all you get is like 4 tablespoons on a sizzling dish. The boneless snow chicken which we’ve had plenty of times tasted a bit funny. Too much “snow” the taste wasn’t quite right. Plus they should serve a half size, it’s quite a huge dish of chicken. This time we didn’t do any bbq so I’ll come back another time to try it! But I’m soo glad there’s a Korean place I can visit when I’m having a craving. Especially after watching soo much K Drama. We weren’t happy that the beers pictured weren’t the right advertised prices when we...
Read moreJust happened to see this place last night and stopped in for dinner. It was the best decision my girlfriend and I made. Every staff member was so friendly, helpful and so kind. I explained it was our first time and the young female Filipino waitress literally helped us so much, helped us pick the fried chicken which was AMAZING and we also tried the snowy cheese (not that tasty to us). She helped cook the meats to show us and came back to give hints! Was the best feeling, how she prioritise us even tho she still catered amazingly to the other 6 tables. When I went to pay the bill the middle-aged Korean women asked me why we didn't like the cheese fried chicken, and explained it wasn't her favourite either haha! She said if I told her she would of changed it to a different flavour. She then said to take some drinks for the way home! Later checking my bank she even deducted at least $15 off the bill. The best part is the food was delicious, reasonably priced and we just can't get over the amazing service we received. It was so unexpected as we always seem to have bad experiences. Thank you for making our night amazing, it warmed our...
