I am lodging a formal complaint regarding the birthday party I had booked for the 21/5/23 with timezone The party was a nightmare and at no stage did I get to see my child enjoy her day which, which is a memory parents value for many years to come. Initially when I confirmed my booking and called the venue, I was told that I could purchase food for the party and bring it down. I said that I was going to have the children eat at 11am. At no stage was I informed that this would not be possible, until today when I went to purchase food and all the eating locations were closed and not opening until 11:30. Clearly this is problematic, and I was not informed when speaking to the Timezone representative who should have mentioned to me when booking that food venues were not open at this time. I went and spoke with the 'party host' who told me multiple times throughout the day when things went wrong, that there was nothing she could do. Party host did no hosting, she stood behind the desk and only handed out the cards and spent the remainder of the day talking with other employees behind the desk. She didnt interact with the children, didnt come over and assist for the children to sing happy birthday. I am not clear on what aspect of being a 'host' was she responsible for but it certainly wasnt assisting with the party. The worst and most concerning part of this nightmare party was a Work Health and Safety issue. My mother leaned up against the sideboard bench and her blouse was heavily wet from a large puddle of water on the bench. This area contained my party bags whih were also wet and some ruined completly as they were paper and not plastic bags. Please see images of water cocenrn. The water was running off from the roof in a constant flow down past what looked to once be an electrical port and onto the floor. I alerted the manager to the concern and she showed little care about it or the fact that the party had at this stage multiple issues, instead she wanted to inspect the party bags to determine if I was lying about the damage. I alerted them to the fact that there was an active power point nearby and that they needed to put a sign on the floor due to the constant flow of water. I was the person ensuring safety as I told them it needed to be wiped due to being a slip hazard. Please see the images of the water that occurred on both walls, the worst was located next to a live PowerPoint which I turned off as none of the staff took any safety measures. I asked if it was safe to remain in the area and the response was 'we wiped it off', this isn't an appropriate safety response. I know timezone isn't responsible for building issues but they wiped their hands of this issue and disregard the impact and safety it was having on the party.

Located at 123 Mulgoa Road, Penrith, New South Wales, Australia 🇦🇺 A great club to come to. There’s a great selection of places to eat. First there’s Kelly’s Bar & Kitchen. The menu is pretty basic but the food is good. Mainly your typical bistro food. They have a good value Special deal on Monday to Thursday. The staff were friendly and welcoming. You can also eat at Alexander’s which is a Tapas and Cocktail Lounge. They also have High Tea. If you want a great seafood place, there’s CJ’s Crab Shack and Grill. This is great and warning alert, you can get messy! but the food is delicious 😋. For Steak 🥩 and Ribs, there’s Osso. The menu also includes seafood and pasta dishes but mainly centres around steak and ribs. For a fine dining experience, there’s Marcel Bar & Bistro. Apart from these, you can also choose from Zen Noodle Bar, Harry’s Cafe de Wheels, Tang Hot Pot, Brisket Boys, Five Guys and Italian Street Kitchen. There’s no shortage of choice. The club is home to the Penrith Panthers Rugby League Team so you might get lucky and catch a glimpse of one of them. There seems to be a lot of things to do around the club like weekly Trivia on Tuesday Nights, live entertainment on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. You can also book special events like Engagement parties there. There’s function rooms. The club itself is really well designed. It’s a huge club and easy to get around and very easy wheelchair 🦽 accessible which was good for our group which had people with different types of disabilities. Overall, it’s a great club to visit, even if you don’t go for the Panthers . Thumbs up!!! 👍👍👍

We were there for a Christmas lunch in the events room. Lunch from 12 to 3pm. Seafood - large prawns, natural oysters, smoked salmon & whole poached salmon. The whole salmon was the highlight for me. They didn't put out lemon wedges though until it was advised to them & a staff member was adamant they were there. She was wrong but didn't apologise but instead made me feel stupid. The first lot of sirloin steak was tender but the next was tough. Hot food was cold. But it always is. Do better . Dessert - they had these things that looked like Canollis but they weren't. The shells were wrong & the filling was so Grosse, citrus? Just wrong. Devastated. Fresh fruit was nice & so was creme brulee. Mango gelato was good too. Also, next time provide lemon water bowls on the tables so people can clean their hands after peeling prawns please. The bar people also needs to advise guests when it's about to close. If you say the event is 12 to 3 then the bar shouldn't shut at 2.30pm.

Was really hoping for more football memorabilia than what was there. Again being a Brissie girl and Broncos club regular there was just not a lot of football 'stuff'. Well not that we saw. This place is absolutely massive. So much to see and do. Had some cocktails out by the blue lagoon. Stunning location. More cocktails inside the upstairs lounge that overlooks the pokies room. All service was good. However it was James Reyne concert night. Sold out so a lot of people there before hand. Huge table next to is with about 10 people walked out with around 4 pizza boxes. So we got excited as we were hungry and hubby went in and ordered a pizza. He brought it out ( 4 cheese and honey and it was divine) however while he was at the bar getting another drink I was ordered to move literally about 4 metres away as I was in a 'smoking area'. I am the X smoker from hell so trust me if anyone out there was smoking I would know. Didn't see or smell anyone and we were there for about 2 hours. It was embarrassing and everyone watched me struggle with pizza boxes and drinks, jackets, bags etc. Then the table of 10 said they tried that on them and they said well I won't post it. But basically no way we're they moving. I even queried the hostess to ask why the big table got pizzas and she said yes they were asked to move several times but won't. So my question then is? Why should we? Sorry but apply your rules to everyone there and not just who you think you can. Hubby was furious when he came back and I had moved and told him why. He also questioned the big table as they were still eating pizza that they purchased on site and they said no, we are regulars we are not moving. Simple as that. Hubby waited for a drink and there was a large group of guys beside him there first however talking amongst them selves. Then bar tender tells Hubby once finally wandering over they were here first so I will take their order. Yep that's fine that's the way it should go. However it should not go that way when they take another 5 minutes to finally order and she ignores him byy chatting with all the boys. So these two things left a bitter taste for us. Then as we were leaving later in the night I asked a security guard about the courtesy bus we saw when we arrived via taxi from the train station. I asked if we needed to be members and does it drop you at the train station? He asked the lady behind the counter at sign in and she said yes it would take non members. We waited for ages to then find out. No member no ride. Caught another taxi to train station and for all the size and food and entertainment we will never return. Communication needs to be going to all your staff so they are on the same page not the wishy washy efforts we got. Go the Broncos. We might be a small club but in all my years of going I have never had bad service like that. Sorry in any state or club...
