Krispy Kreme — Restaurant in Sydney

Booked the donut decorating for 3 kids. While the table was prepared, the tub tops were clogged. Had to request several times for them to be cleaned out, instead a pair of scissors were used to scrape out the holes leaving plastic residue on the tips. We ordered two specials they had advertised on the till, a Regular Shake & any 2 doughnuts for $9.95, we were charged $23.90 and not provided a receipt. When we questioned the price, the store manager and team leader came to the front removing the sign off the till saying the price had increased and the signs were missed (the TL removed the sign off the til so I didn’t get a chance to take a pic of proof). However there was still a large sign still on the window for $10.95 so who knows how long ago the new price change was… the overhead screens shows $11.95… The TL said ‘sorry for that, the price was changed yesterday’ to which I replied that as a customer I am not aware of that, and if there is a price for a special deal displayed at the till, then that is what draws my attention and expect to pay that. The manager (or whoever she is) was still arguing that we ‘upsized’ clearly we did not, as per our receipt. After her scoffing at us, no apology on her behalf, reluctantly refunded $4 which was due as per the original sign. Was disappointing to say the least. The rest of the staff were lovely and helpful with any requests and with the children doing their decorating, however management should get their heads back in the customer...

I ordered 2 dozens of original glazed donuts online ($28 promotion) and scheduled pick up yesterday 27th of July at Krispy Kreme Mulgoa Road Penrith. I forgot to pick up same day so I rang today (28th) and spoke to Nicole if I can still pick it up and her answer is NO. I asked if it’s okay to process refund and she told me that she had no idea if I can get a refund. She told me to contact main office. I need to ring her again coz she did not give me the number to ring and I forgot to ask. Nicole also told me that this situations is not something that happens often and that orders are usually picked up in a timely manner.

I head to the store to speak to someone who is maybe more considerate but end speaking to the same person (Nicole) since she is the store manager.

Nicole said she is trying to be considerate but she cannot give us donuts because they are running low of donuts. I can see donuts being made onsite and the conveyor is filled with glazed donuts even right after it is emptied. Nicole said that they are making donuts for other stores the reason why I can see plenty of donuts being made onsite so I asked if she can make 24 donuts for me (I was already half begging) and I am willing to wait but her answer is still NO and that she cannot give as consideration because if she consider me she needs to consider others, too! Just too frustrating!

I cannot believe that I have to beg like this from a well known and reputable Krispy Kreme store just for a 24...

Nice donuts especially the choc glazed new donuts & original glazed.. these tasted fresh as they’re made & sold on the same day... the staff are knowledgeable & informative about the type of donuts sold & take the time to explain the flavors.. This store was quiet laid back & relaxed on a Sunday afternoon as opposed to the rowdy crowded Krispy Kreme stores in other suburbs.. this outlet was clean & presentable as well.. I ordered the original glazed milk shake which tastes exactly like the glazed donut & it’s a cross between a milk & thick shake.. very nice if you like the glazed donut flavoring..

the variety of flavour filled donuts are ok especially the tiramisu & apple crumble it’s a bit disappointing they no longer serve the plain cream filled iced chocolate top donuts.. unfortunate because that was one of my favorites.. surprised it is no longer sold as it was one of the classic original flavours... I prefer the choc iced Cream filled over the kookies n Kreme filled ones as it’s too sweet mixed with the choc biscuits.. the caramel delight was actually too sweet if there is such a thing of having too much caramel.. the Nutella topped donuts is a tad heavy in Nutella taste would be better if it was a donut filled with Nutella maybe mixed with a cream filling will make it a lighter fluffy Nutella melt in your mouth taste.. Reese’s peanut butter donut is very peanut buttery sticks to the roof of your mouth.. They used to have a more appealing variety...
