Welcome to Western Sydney's first and only 5 star hotel, recently opened to the public in Aug 2023. We wanted to try it out, so I booked through the Accor app for a last-minute Saturday night stay in a Deluxe Room with breakfast for $351.00. Arrived around 1pm. The large lowset and very modern hotel takes prime position on the corner entry into the Panthers precinct, parked in the basement, plenty of available no charge bays available, accessed the hotel complex via a lift and came out in the conference buildings lobby, proceeded to main entry of the Pullman, I have stayed or at least visited all Pullman properties in the Sydney area, and I must say that this hotel is the most beautifully styled, decorated and furnished of all of them, the lobby was bright and open with reception and lifts to the right, a Cafe, lounge and grand staircase to the level 1 bar and restaurant to the left. All I can say is absolutely stunning, modern, elegant, and everything smelt brand new. Warmly welcomed by Karla, the front of house manager, so pleasant to speak to while checking in to our room, I asked if any upgrades were available as I am Accorplus Gold, Karla smiled and in a moments time handed me oom keys and said I was welcome to stay in their junior suite on level 4, great start for our stay, Proceeded to level 4, Exiting lift, we entered a very large space with wide corridors to our left and right. The whole wall in front was glass and a sitting area. Wow, was our reaction on approaching our suite we entered into a small alcove containing a large storage space and full size hidden fridge, microwave, and space for mini bar and glass ware, bathroom was configured with large shower single basin area and toiled with all amenities well presented, To the left, a small study and table and chairs area to sit and to the right a huge TV and divider with a king bed, Loved this space, went to Cafe for lunch, our hostess Jay took us into lounge opposite and handed menus and tool water and beverage order returned with menus, very friendly yet always professional, out food was delicious the staff very attentive with Jay also checking in with us filling sparkling water and engaging with us. We tried to make a reservation for dinner in the restaurant and was advised fully booked but to just turn up in the evening to see if there are any availability, Unfortunately that evening restaurant was at capacity bur allowed me to get a good look at bar area and into restaurant looked great staff all very friendly, later that evening we managed to after eating outside of hotel be offered seating in the bar and eating our dessert and complimentary Gold drinks there, All staff were friendly, attentive, and professional they all worked well together, Up early after great sleep in comfortable bed for morning walk Paul the Night Manager wad so friendly and chatted as well as offering to make us coffee at 0600 what amazing customer service, Breakfast in the restaurant was a large buffet with hot and cold dishes, as well as kitchen orders for eggs, etc. Again, all staff are super friendly and helpful. Engaging but always in the Pullman way very professional and experienced, Loved our stay will be...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreJuly 2025 Booked for a two night stay at Pullman Sydney Penrith to enable a convenient location for my husband's specialist appointment at Nepean Hospital. Having an accessible room to rest up at after driving down from the Upper Blue Mountains made the ordeal so much more manageable. We have stayed here on two other occasions. Once for a birthday and the other for a previous medical appointment. The hotel facilities are top notch, the proximity to Panthers and its various eateries are a plus, and the Pullman staff are so incredibly kind and professional. Always an absolutely delightful experience. Thank you.
June 2024 Birthday stay for my husband. Absolutely beautiful new hotel with exemplary staff. So welcoming and helpful. They all seem to really take pride in the hotel and their jobs. We were gifted drink vouchers in recognition of my husband's birthday. Later in the evening, whilst enjoying drinks in the bar, they presented us with a Happy Birthday Petit Four's platter. Breakfast the next morning was lovely. Full hot buffet, pastries, cereals, fruit and deli items in Marcels Restaurant. Staff were wonderfully attentive, coming over repeatedly to our table to see if we needed more coffee. The only solitary disappointment was the Nespresso machine in our room didn't work. I notified Reception at our checkout and they thanked me for informing them and promised to send someone to fix the issue. This is a really lovely hotel with spacious common areas, huge foyers outside the lifts on each floor with lounges and views. There was an entrance foyer in our room, so none of that limited space that often occurs once you've made entry with your bags. We had a accessible room with plenty of space to negotiate a wheelchair. The accessible bathroom was fantastic. Fold down shower bench and adjustable height shower hose. All toiletries within easy reach. Plenty of towels, bathmats, etc. Robes were also provided, which was lovely, also the usual slippers. No need to pack your own. The coffee shop bar area and Marcels restaurant and bar were all beautifully and stylishly furnished. I highly recommend a stay at Pullman Sydney Penrith. We will most definitely be back. Thank you to all the staff who made our visit a...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI recently had the pleasure of staying at Pullman Penrith Sydney and found the overall experience to be very positive. The rooms were modern, well-appointed, and the beds were exceptionally comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The staff were also a highlight of our stay, going above and beyond to provide outstanding hospitality. I would wholeheartedly recommend this venue to anyone looking for accommodation in Western Sydney.
However, there were a couple of aspects of our stay that could be improved. Firstly, we encountered a communication issue regarding the bag porter service. Despite requesting this service prior to checkout, and following up at the designated checkout time, we experienced a delay. This resulted in a staff member informing us, somewhat belatedly, that we had overstayed our checkout time, unaware that we had been waiting for the bag porter. This incident suggests a need for better internal communication and coordination to ensure guest requests are handled more efficiently.
Secondly, while I understand the necessity of additional charges for certain amenities, the approach to extras felt excessive. For example, the provision of glass water bottles in the room with a note stating that the water is complimentary, but taking the bottle incurs a $6 charge, came across as a bit of a money grab. Such practices, while not uncommon, could detract from the overall positive experience by giving the impression that the hotel is overly eager to impose additional fees.
In conclusion, my stay at Pullman Penrith Sydney was largely enjoyable, thanks to the modern facilities and exceptional service. However, addressing the noted issues could enhance the guest experience, ensuring that all aspects of the stay reflect the high standards that the Pullman...
