I will never come back to this place. I’ve left my laptop here and I called them immediately within 10mins or less. The kitchen guy picked up the phone and I told them where I sat and where I put my laptop. He said he doesn’t see my laptop and told me I must’ve left it somewhere else so I asked them if I could see the cctv if I call a cop and he repeatedly said there’s no laptop and they can show me cctv if I come by tomorrow when there’s a manager. So I asked if they could possibly call a manager cause I was too worried if I wouldn’t able to find it after days but he only said he checked everywhere and there’s no laptop. I was already on the way back to the restaurant and I told them that I’m going to call a cop and I’m on my way. All of sudden, after 5 minutes phone call, he said he sees my laptop NOW. According to him my laptop was on exact spot I left and he just didn’t see it. I could only come with two thoughts that either they were trying to take it or don’t even wanna be bothered for a good minute to have a look at the spot I almost begged them to. When I walked in the venue, they were saying they didn’t have a time to walk out of the kitchen and have a look cause they had to prepare food for tomorrow. It was 3pm on Monday. I don’t even remember how their foods were or anything but the horrible experience that I almost...
Read moreWe normally order uber eats which has always been reliable but this time we decided to get takeaway as we were driving past this sat night and the place was empty. We arrived at 8pm (after working a 12hr shift and very hungry) and i ordered the pancake for myself and one serving of the pork bao and the chicken wings for my partner who just wanted something light. When we arrived home we realised the chicken wings weren't in our takeaway bag- which was paid for. After calling repeatedly, (we got home at 8:30, they close 8:45) no answer, no answering machine. Thought about driving back as they would still be cleaning, but why should it be an inconveneience to us? Totally unprofessional , not even a chance to try to rectify the situation. My partner had to order more food elsewhere because the bao was hardly very filling. We only go here because of convenience as its on the way home from work, also my partner normally likes their pork rolls, but i've aways thought their servings were very small. There are plenty of amazing Vietnamese restaurants in the area, try Nem Kitchen (amazing vermicelli salad) and Yen's Vietnamese (best pho!) which are both DELISH, will give much bigger servings and ingredients are always fresh! Thanks Photown for making us realise convenience is not...
Read moreI'm really sad. Me and my partner used to love this place and it was our go to place. We would always get the rare beef pho with crispy chicken rice with tomato rice. The last time when we went which was 2 weeks ago just when covid19 lockdown restrictions started easing, the food standards have definitely decreased as well as the service. It was such a horrible bad experience for me. I ordered some entrees beforehand and walked up to the employee asking if I can get the entree before my main dish of pho given that I saw that the entree has been just sitting there for a long time, the employee was very rude and told me to go back and he will bring it to me didn't even care about what I was actually asking of him. Later our entire order came at the same time, the tomato rice was served in a smaller bowl than usual (usually. it's served on a plate) and the tomato rice was very dried and crispy which seems like it was cooked fresh or maybe it has been left there for a very long time. The broth of the pho didn't have much taste to it. This place isn't what it used to be and seems like the original chef(s) have left because the food is definitely not the same. Sadly, I would have to find another pho hit spot for me don't plan to visit again in a very long time until...
