Pirates Grill — Restaurant in Sydney

Took my family there today 3 of us ordered burgers and chips that were decent burgers my sister ordered big breakie and the eggs came out borderline still roar made a complaint to front count staff that were fantastic I would say. then proceeded to have chef come too our table with a very arrogant attitude basically blaming us to not asking for the eggs to be well done . I'm a chef myself it's not the patrons job to have to ask for the food to be fully cooked . This experience has deturd us from coming back which is a real shame because we're locals also and the burgers were quite decent. I think some ppl just can't handle positive criticism. My partner told me to stop past woolworths and get some meat patties to make burgers for dinner and I told her instead I would stop past pirates grill on the way home and get some burgers so we weren't disappointed, I now regret not just going to woolworths. The patties on the burgers are thin and have no flavour just like the cheap and nasty ones from a supermarket I got food for my partner my daughter and myself and not one of us enjoyed our burgers at all. I do have to say the sweet potato chips were really nice and we basically all just ended eating sweet potato chips. Very disappointing food. The staff were lovely but very poor quality...

Came here cos of all the great reviews and definitely not disappointed (even though I had high expectations)! We had The Steak and The Eggplant, both in a meal with drink and fries. First of all I like that they also have other drinks then just the classic soft drinks. Also the fries were pretty good. The burgers (or more sandwiches) were great and all ingredients seemed fresh. Only criticism would be that it was friggin cold inside and when we you advertise something as a thick cut steak, let it actually be thick cut and not the classic schnitzel cut.

But yes pretty great experience and definitely will be back to try more...
