Arrived early to the restaurant and had to wait and wait just to order. many of the staff ignored us and were just talking to each other. After finally ordering it took over 1 hour to get some food but it was just the naan bread that goes with the curries. We were left waiting a further 30mins for the curry and rice to come out so had to contend with munching on the naan. There was no apology for the delayed food and the curries were totally tasteless and bland . I highly DO NOT recommend this place for the poor quality food, poor service and expensive bill. Curries from Woolworths are tastier. Do not waste your money or time. A good night was spoilt. Will never be going to this place again. Your response to my above review is basically total lies. When we arrived we had to wait and waive down someone to take our order as 4 of your staff where behind the bar laughing and talking. Even when I tried to pay the bill, they were there huddled behind the bar talking and laughing and only saw me after a few minutes. I should not have to ask one of your staff where my food is 1 hour after ordering. You can make as many excuses and lies as you like but the bottom line is your food is tasteless and bland, your service totally lacks and it seems all your staff act as trainees which you use as an excuse for poor service. Unfortunately, our recent dining experience at this restaurant was far from what we had hoped. While the ambiance initially seemed promising, both the food and service left much to be desired.
Multiple issues arose during our visit — our order was incorrect more than once, and the overall coordination and attentiveness of the staff were severely lacking. What was especially concerning was the lack of care regarding children’s safety in the dining area, which should always be a top priority in any family-friendly establishment.
Additionally, there was confusion around the billing. We were told certain condiments were “on the house,” and that they came with the entrée, but were later surprised to find them added to the final bill — along with charges for an incorrect dish we hadn’t ordered. The staff was arguing with my guests regarding what they have ordered. This lack of transparency and consistency made the experience even more disappointing. There was no apologies and acceptance of the feedback. I always support the businesses providing our local food but this is the first time ever i had to write a review for any restaurant.
