After numerous lunches at Queen, we decided to give it a crack with friends for a Saturday evening. Starting with the vibe, Robertson rd has it in bucketloads, so win there (apart from the parked cars…nice if the council made it no parking zone after 5pm). The food was great, we knew that because it’s awesome at lunchtime, but a bit more adult as dinner, with barramundi as the starring role. Read moreI saw Toby's review above and it prompted me to share my experience. The staff and customers at this beautiful bustling cafe are second to none. We were walking through with our pram on the weekend and yes it was busy, but the staff ran out and greeted us with a smile, then proceeded to hoist our pram in the air like a palanquin, with four of them carrying our baby through like a Queen (Queen Ester maybe), while singing and dancing. It was incredible. We felt like royalty. They then found us a table and served us the most incredible lunch we have had the pleasure of eating here on the Northern Beaches. Thank you Queen Ester!!! Read moreThis is our new favourite lunch spot on Saturdays. The place is always busy but the service is fast, efficient and friendly. Many other hospitality businesses could learn a lot from this venue. The menu is small but all of dishes that we have tried are delicious. I have had the falafel pitta (in the pic) several times, the quality has been consistent on every visit. The atmosphere is very lively and the team obviously get on well, operating from not much more than a home in the wall they do a great job pumping out a good volume of dishes.
