Newport Beach — Attraction in Sydney

Newport Beach is just 5 Beaches before arriving at Palm Beach, where " Home and Away" TV is depicted. On the point ...you can see the Lighthouse looking North....a walk will see you ascend to a beautiful 360* vista .

Newport Beach will give you the chance to enjoy Surfing.....just remember to swim between the Flags....check at the Surf Club on the beach the life savers are there. No flags...don't swim. A Bus trip from Sydney ( Wynyard Rail Station) will take you all the way to Palm Beach and return....you will pass many Beaches on the way and don't forget your Camera/ Smartphone. There are many choices of food places to eat at all the beaches, from Take Away to dine in. Just ask anyone one the bus.....to tell you about the places you are to pass or reach.....these bus riders ( locals) will willing open up, as these are the best beaches in Sydney....and the best places to live at. If you're visiting more than one beaches, like me, let me suggest something. From Newport Beach, there is a lovely coastal walk to Bilgola Beach with benches to have a rest and some excellent viewpoints only to enjoy the scenery or take photos as well. Walking up on the stairs and looking back, the long sandy shore opens up for you. Some people are playing volleyballs, while others are waiting in the water with their surfboards to the perfect waves. The water is usually rough, but there are lifeguards. Of course, it doesn’t mean that is recommended to inexperienced swimmers to make the first strokes there. For that purpose, there is a rock pool. With the parking, I can’t help, since I’m using public transport. Sometimes it is much less hassle, and if you don’t want to carry half of the household with you, it is comfortable, and you can avoid the frustration searching a parking spot in vain.

Easy access to this beach, close to Barrenjoey road if you are driving, with a large car park, or catch the bus, lots of bus stops. Close to the shops, a good Coles express and other coffee shops and restaurants. A large playground with lots of seating, usually full of day trippers on weekends. The beach is long, well patrolled but can be choppy and rough depending on weather. Surf club with good, clean changing rooms. A...

What a place to come and bring the family to. Or simply come for a dip in the clean rock pool that has a clean amenities nearby to have a shower after.

What makes Newport beach a unique is the close Bad Boys Kebab shop that everyone braging about in the area that is newly opened with their best kebab and fresh ingredients food.

Beautiful calm and quiet small beach 🏖️ near Sydney. Very good for ⛅ photography, swimming, cool rock pool, surfing (surf club with good and clean changing room), vollyball, fishing and other beach activity.
