The food arrived cold and portions were unbelievably small for the high cost. When I spoke to the restaurant owner or so she said, the response was "it is the way it is" and that others are happy and no one has ever complained in 3 years.

If you are looking for value, and taste I would definitely not recommended this restaurant as they don't offer value and flavour and their example should not represent Afghan food. Which is flavoursome, great value and generous. I would have gone back many times if I knew what they offered was good, but their response was unprofessional and very indicative of yet another restaurant assuming those in the Northern Beaches should pay more for getting less simply because it is somehow tolerated. Restaurant decor is very colourful and feels authentic. Small concise menu which is a positive as some restaurants can be overwhelming, still plenty of dishes to choose from.

Would highly recommend the entree platter, it gives a nice taste of all entrees.

For mains we had Kabul Pallow, very nice tasting, light flavours. Also the Chicken Kabob. The chicken was cooked very well and had some nice flavours to it.

Whilst the dishes were nice the flavours while tasty were not intense, as in they didn't have a punch or wow factor, perhaps this is just personal preference though.

Quality : amateur (teenage kids in the kitchen could cook better than this ). Stale food with boring recipes - not authentic and not tasty. Basic and simple

Quantity: tiny portions way overpriced

Service: they argue among themselves, then the guy who served us added an extra amount to the bill (self tip?) dishonest. Check your bill carefully before paying

Honestly - there are so many better options and places to spend your money. This was a disgusting rip off never to be repeated again. I honestly don’t know how they’re still in business
